Lichtzeit House 135 sqm for relaxing (Lichtzeit)
Lichtzeit
Description
Across 135 sqm, modern design, old farmhouse furniture, and creative objects combine to create a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. The space GROUND FLOOR: The modernly equipped kitchen with all imaginable kitchen appliances and an old Biedermeier bench leads into the dining room with a large wooden table, distinctive chairs and beanbags - for eating together or playing cards. The living room with a velvet sofa and a characterful wood-burning stove invites you to have deep conversations, to be quiet and to relax together. The landlady deliberately did not provide a TV: the point here is to relax together without distraction. Fast Wi-Fi, a separate toilet and a washing machine are provided. UPPER FLOOR: Two large, cozy bedrooms – "Rote Blumenwiese" as a couple's room and "Grüne Blumenwiese" with 1.80 m wide Wildbuch double beds – as well as a connecting room with a library, work area and a pull-out Japanese futon chair are available. The bookshelf with treasures from literature, architecture, art, psychology, nutrition, nature and meditation invites you to read and reflect. WOODEN DECKS and the GARDEN: The LICHTZEIT guest house has two beautiful wooden decks, one facing south with morning sun for breakfast and an almost 30-square-meter wooden deck facing north that hovers high above the garden like a ship's deck. Here you can see stars and the Milky Way at night and enjoy shooting stars – because Finsterau is part of the Star Park thanks to an exceptional quality of light. In Finsterau, home of straightforward Waidler farmers with huge tractors and agile hares, there is a bright, simple wooden house that invites you to a special experience: Lots of wood, light fabrics and natural materials, plus wreaths, grasses and flowers from the surrounding area, bring nature into the house. And outside? Wild nature. You open the front door and you are right in the Reschbachtal, a special jewel in the Bavarian Forest National Park. The local mountains Bärnriegel and Lusen invite you to go hiking – and in good weather, the view from the peaks extends to the Alps. A place for those who love nature, beauty and the simple good life.
