La Pampa de Fressac, home in a unique setting

Our house, La Pampa de Fressac, is nestled in a 10 ha property, in a unique setting of the Cévennes near Sauve, 20 minutes from Anduze and 50 minutes from Montpellier. The surrounding nature will immerse you in a Mediterranean climate in complete silence. It has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Guests will have access to a swimming pool and garden for meals with friends and family in the shade of mulberry trees. It's a great place to relax by the water or stroll the surrounding trails. The space The 290 m2 house can accommodate up to 12 people, in two separate parts. One, the main one, includes a living room with fireplace, a dining room, an equipped kitchen, 1 large bedroom, 1 bathroom and 2 toilets on the ground floor. Upstairs, you will find 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with a terrace/solarium. The outbuilding, located opposite, contains 2 bedrooms, a small mezzanine, 1 small bathroom, and a large games room/office. You will be alone, surrounded by a lush forest, a very welcoming swimming pool, a petanque court near old stables and a large dining table in the shade of mulberry trees. A delicious blend to make the most of an exceptionally peaceful setting. The house has been decorated by us with objects and furniture of natural materials found in the Mediterranean and quality beds for your comfort. The house is very nice and stays naturally cool in summer and warm in the colder months. We look forward to hosting you and showing you walking trails in the surrounding vineyards, bike rides and where to swim in the nearby rivers. Guest access The house is located in Fressac, a tiny village at the foot of the Gard Cévennes, not far from the medieval village of Sauve and the bamboo grove of Anduze. There is a hill, a cliff and on the ridge, the ruins of a 13th century castle overlooking the house. A small hiking trail crosses the top of the property to see the castle and enjoy the lovely view. Another path leads to the pretty village of Montaises. In the rising scrubland, there are two small clearings with about thirty olive trees that we have already prepared for a small production in a year. We will also plant a hundred olive trees of several endemic varieties, and a little later, fruit trees, in consultation with our friends in the village, who will be able to give good advice on choosing varieties that respect the balance of nature and the ecosystem. Other things to note Samer, a Mediterranean city dweller, and Gwendoline, who arrived from the Indian Ocean, have found a corner of nature, to lay down their desires, discover the life of trees and animals, and find silence. “We will share it with people passing through, with family or in a group, where we will do everything to show our generosity, our know-how, letting our passion for architecture, decoration, art, cooking and agricultural products shine through. We are at the beginning of an adventure where we hope many will join us. We will start by preparing the house in a simple way, then we will start renovation work in 2025, for more comfort, with a configuration and decor that will reflect us."
