The 24-acre property is home to many species of birds and wildlife. Located 6 miles north from the Columbia River and the town of Lyle, WA. Local activities include: hiking, biking, kite boarding, fishing, kayaking, shopping, dining, wine/beer/spirit tasting, sight-seeing, and the fruit loop. The space The cottage is 400 sq. ft. and is fully equipped with every thing you will need. There is a full kitchen, full laundry room including sink, living room with Dish Network & Internet, 3- person dining room, bathroom with shower, queen bedroom with dressing area, and enclosed patio. The cottage interior has a minimal and relaxing design so you can enjoy the amazing views out the large bay windows. Windows also have blackout shades for privacy. The cottage is family friendly and can accommodate a small child on the couch (not a pullout) or we can provide a small child-sized fold-out cot with advanced notice. Guest access Guests have full and private access of the cottage; which is NOT attached to our main house. There is a wrap around patio area with chairs to sit outside and enjoy the view. Waking the 1/4 mile driveway is also a great way to get some exercise and enjoy the fresh air. There is a large round driveway the can accommodate a boat or RV upon request. Other things to note Please note - The Lyle Mercantile is only 12 minutes away and carries basic food and drink essentials. The closest large grocery store is about 25 minutes away in The Dalles, White Salmon or Hood River.
