My wooden forest cottage is located directly on the Veluwe forest and is the place to slow down, recharge and enjoy pure nature. • Right on the edge of the forest - chance of deer, pigs & squirrels! 🐿 • Warm fireplace, cozy bedstee and nice bedroom • No WiFi - but books, games & record player The space Are you coming alone, with your partner, family or friends? Welcome! The cottage is suitable for one to four people. Whether you come to recharge on your own, cocooning together or heading out into nature with friends or family - this cottage feels like coming home. Inside you will find: • a cozy living room with a fireplace • dining room with dining table (or writing, creation or games table!) • Double bed bedroom (140x200) • Bere cozy double bedstee (140 x 200) - overlooking the forest! • Record player with multiple records to listen to • games & bookcase, in case you can't find enough books in the bedstee ;) • Well-equipped kitchen: gas stove, fridge with freezer, oven, kettle, Nespresso • Coffee, tea, oil and kitchen towels • Bathroom with shower, washbasin, shampoo & conditioner • Separate toilet • Laundry room with washing/drying combination and vacuum cleaner • Central heating, so even in winter it is wonderfully warm and cozy here Lovely fresh beds The beds are freshly made on arrival and towels are waiting for you. We use organic products for cleaning and work as sustainably as possible! Directly on the forest From the garden, you can walk into the Veluwe forest. You can walk or cycle here endlessly, and with a bit of luck, deer, squirrels, or even a wild boar shoot by. The area is beautiful! Unplug & unwind There is consciously no WiFi available. Instead: games, fine books, and a record player with a small collection of records (think: Leonard Cohen, old soul & also classical music). Don't you want to be online? Create a hotspot and you can reach well. Enhanced with love We listen to our guests. Based on feedback, we gave the inside of the cottage a refresh in April 2025: • New maid • Renewed bedding and mattresses • Extra kitchen items • New lighting, plants and styling All in all this is the perfect place to go back to basic, but with atmosphere. Whether you come for silence, to write, think about life or to be together with loved ones - you will enjoy here. Be welcome and experience it for yourself - the forest awaits you. Guest access The cottage and the garden are entirely at your disposal: you won't have to share any facilities. The cottage is located on a small park without facilities. No playground, barrier or other hectic things you find in many parks. Peace, quiet and nature here :-) PS The garden has nice relaxing chairs and complete privacy. Other things to note Digital detox - consciously no Wi-Fi available :) We have chosen not to connect Wi-Fi, so you can really unwind. If you still need to be online, with a hotspot you have a good connection. Fireplace - there are a few blocks of wood waiting for you in the basket by the fireplace. Extra firewood can possibly be purchased from Welkoop in Putten. Due to the safety and preservation of the fireplace, it is not allowed to use wet and/or forest wood! The beds are freshly made on arrival, and towels, bath mat and a hair dryer are of course provided. There is a washer/dryer combination provided in the cottage for your convenience. The laundry rack is outside under the canopy next to the bedroom. Beware: the wooden terrace in the garden can be slippery (especially in damp weather). Open fires are prohibited in connection with wooded area. From the garden you can walk into the woods, and you can walk for hours! Animal lover? So are we! Your dog (or cat) is welcome for an additional fee of 15 euros per dog per night, only after consultation and with agreement to the following rules: • The dog is not allowed on furniture • The house and the garden are left tidy • The guest will take responsibility in case of damages or any additional cleaning charges after stay Check-in is possible from 3 p.m. and check-out at no later than 10 a.m. due to the preparation/cleaning of new guests. An earlier arrival (1pm) or a later departure (12:00 p.m.) is only possible in consultation and based on availability. The cost is 30 euros. Waste is allowed in the blue waste bag in the wooden waste cottage at the park. The garbage cottage is to the left of cottage 12. Glass bottles can be placed separately in the waste collection bin. Unfortunately, BBQ is not allowed due to the fire hazard caused by the direct location next to the forest There are 2 bicycles available. The keys are in the cigar box in the brown cabinet in the kitchen.
