Supreme Torquay Guest house

Our place is a three bedroom guest house, with comfortable, quiet, private rooms and shared kitchen, lounge and bathrooms. Set amongst the trees in a quiet neighbourhood, the newly build house is bright and cozy with a relaxed beach house atmosphere. Close to central Torquay and nearby surf beaches, it is the ideal stop-over on the way down the Great Ocean Road, or 'home base' for exploring the surf coast. Good for couples, solo adventurers. The space The large room is sized like a luxurious hotel room, with comfy queen-size bed, tall-boy, built in robes, writing desk and thermostatically controlled heating and wall mounted 40" TV. The bed has a electric blanket and a brand new bathroom with separate shower and bath is just opposite your room. Guest access Shared areas include a lounge room with a gas log fire and wide screen TV, and a large galley kitchen and adjoining dining area. A large, new bathroom with bath and shower, for the exclusive use of guests, is located opposite the main guest room. There is also a large outdoor patio/BBQ area in a beautiful garden setting. During your stay The house is zoned with the main guest room downstairs, and my private quarters upstairs. I work afternoons and nights (part-time) so guests will often have the down-stairs part of the house to themselves. However I am available mornings and on non-work days to assist and guide guests if needed. Other things to note Host Profile: Hi I'm Stu; a 58 year old father of three grown up boys. I have lived in Torquay for 25 years and recently finished building this house, with the idea to rent two of the rooms on Airbnb. There's nothing I like better than going surfing with my boys at our favourite breaks along the surfcoast, and meeting new people with interesting stories of travel and life. I also enjoy snow sports, the odd hit of golf; cooking, reading and movies. I work part-time driving the airport shuttle (Gull Bus) between Geelong and Melbourne Airport. In my spare time I write fiction. I've recently finished the first book in a 'future world action adventure' trilogy, and I'm now trying to get my head around the sequel. Stay at our place if you like a relaxed beach holiday atmosphere. Your accommodation is modern, clean and comfortable with plenty of freedom to choose how you will enjoy your stay. You might end up joining us for a family dinner or BBQ, or enjoy a night out at the many cafes and restaurants along the foreshore. Because I work nights, you might have the whole place to yourselves, to treat as your own for the night. Breakfast is provided in a relaxed and unstructured way. Help yourself to a continental breakfast, or depending on your schedule (and mine) you might enjoy a delicious cooked breaky. The most important thing is - enjoy your stay.
