In a small corner of the countryside of the Vosges, a heliciculture farm is emerging, hosting snails, geese & chickens. Here, in the heart of an atypical farm, is a small refuge, where you can relax to the rhythm of a snail's life. Simply enjoy the small pleasures of green nature or the warmth of the local thermal waters. A place where calm, respect for nature, passion and love of animals reign. The space . You are isolated in the heart of nature, about fifteen minutes from Épinal, in a small peaceful hamlet in the heart of the Vosges thermal region, a few hundred meters from where your hosts, Carole & Luigi, live. Your refuge offers a magnificent relaxing view of the neighboring nature from its huge bay windows! Come and discover the profession of heliciculturist during a stay, where Carole & Luigi will be happy to welcome you and introduce you to their passion, their farm (visit possible from June to September) and their products, which you can of course taste: Comté, blue, parsley... A time capsule, tasty, enriching, exotic! Small note: the snails are raised in a dedicated park, so they can't come to your refuge. You can however meet some hens during your stay, who have the good life in freedom! You have all amenities in 14 square meters perfectly optimized: * Sleeping area: a queen size bed 160 x 200 cm (2 adults) and a sofa bed (1 additional adult, extra bed) * Kitchen area: fridge, electric hob, sink, utensils, dishes and condiments * Lounge area, dining area with table, chairs * Bathroom: sink, shower and eco-friendly toilet (dry toilet) * Soaps, towels and bed linen provided * Heating by electric radiator * Portable fans to cool off (no air conditioning) * Outdoor furniture (except winter period): wooden deck, table, chairs, deckchairs * Running & drinking water * Cleaning included * Free parking On the catering side, in addition and upon reservation at least 48 hours before your stay (then depending on availability after this period), Carole and Luigi offer: - breakfast (€10 per person) - appetizer boards (€30 per board, order at least 48 hours before your stay) - baskets of products from the farm: crispy snails, etc. GOOD TO KNOW: The refuge is located in nature. As a result, a few rules are required during your stay: 1) The risk of fire is very high in the wilderness, it is strictly forbidden to smoke in and around the hut, but also to light any flame (no barbecue) 2) Wastewater is filtered by plants: you are asked to use only the 100% natural products provided for your stay 3) Pets aren't allowed (sorry for your 4-legged friends, or less) Guest access . Check-in: from 6 p.m. Possibility to check with your hosts for an earlier check-in (depending on their availability) Check-out before 11 a.m. Key box available in case of late arrival You have a free parking space, close to the refuge Other things to note . The refuge is located on the farm of Carole and Luigi, who live a little further away in their house. You may therefore come across them (and their dogs) during your stay There is no Wi-Fi in the accommodation (but the 4G network generally works well on site) The entrance to the shelter is not step-free (slightly elevated).
