In a small corner of the countryside of the Vosges, a heliciculture farm is emerging, hosting snails, geese & chickens. Here, in the heart of an atypical farm, is a small refuge, where you can relax to the rhythm of a snail's life. Simply enjoy the small pleasures of green nature or the warmth of the local thermal waters. A place where calm, respect for nature, passion and love of animals reign. The space . You are secluded in nature, about fifteen minutes from Épinal, in a small peaceful hamlet in the heart of the thermal Vosges, a few hundred meters from where your hosts, Carole & Luigi live. Your refuge offers you a grandiose relaxing view of the neighboring nature from its huge windows! You have all the amenities in 14 square meters perfectly optimized: ✓ AMENITIES ❀ * Sleeping area: one queen size bed 160x200 cm (2 adults) and one sofa bed (1 extra adult, extra bed) * Kitchen area: fridge, electric hob, sink, utensils, dishes and condiments * Lounge area, dining with table, chairs * Bathroom: Eco-friendly sink, shower and toilet (dry toilet) * Soap, towels, and bedding provided * Heating by electric heater * Portable fans to cool you down (no air conditioning) * Outdoor furniture (except winter): wooden deck, table, chairs, Chilean * Running & drinkable water * Housekeeping included * Free parking 𖠜 HEATING: • Thanks to its two radiators, your refuge becomes a real warm cocoon, even when the cold winter temperatures are raging outside. Within minutes, an enveloping heat spreads throughout the lodge. A gentle and comforting atmosphere, perfect for sitting down with a book in hand by the fire or simply contemplating the soft orange flames. ❆ FAN (but no air conditioning) • A ceiling fan will give you the feeling of freshness in bed in summer. 𖣔 FOOD AND DRINK On the catering side, extra charge and by reservation at least 48 hours before your stay (then depending on availability after this time), Carole and Luigi offer you: - Breakfast (€10 per person) - aperitif boards (€30 per board, order at least 48 hours before the stay) - baskets of products from the farm: crispy snails, etc. ✓ GOOD TO KNOW: ✓ Check-in: from 6 p.m. ✓ Check-out: before 11 a.m. ✓ Key box available in case of late arrivals ✓ Possibility to check with your hosts for an earlier check-in (depending on their availability) The refuge is set up in nature. As a result, a few rules are required during your stay: 1) The risk of fire being very high in nature, it is strictly forbidden to smoke in and around the shelter, but also to light any flame (no barbecue) 2) Sewage is filtered by plants: you are asked to use only the 100% natural products provided for your stay 3) No pets allowed (sorry for your four-legged friends, or less) Guest access . ✓ Check-in: from 6 p.m. ✓ Check-out: before 11 a.m. ✓ Key box available in case of late arrivals ✓ Possibility to check with your hosts for an earlier check-in (depending on their availability) ✓ You have a free space to park your vehicle, close to the shelter Other things to note . The refuge is located on the farm of Carole and Luigi, who live a little further in their home. So you may come across them (as well as their dogs) during your stay There is no wifi in the property (but the 4G network usually works well on site) The entrance to the refuge is not on one level (slightly elevated).
