Located in the authentic village of Torre Bormida, in the heart of the UNESCO Langhe region, Casa del Nonno is the perfect destination for a getaway amidst hills, vineyards, and restorative tranquility. Ideal for families and couples, it combines comfort and authenticity in a relaxing atmosphere. From scenic walks and bike rides to the traditional flavors of Piedmont, every moment invites you to slow down. A private garden and a terrace with a view complete a stay of pure well-being and tranquility. The space The house, on the ground floor, has an equipped kitchen (stovetop, refrigerator/freezer, toaster, coffee machine, electric kettle), a large living room with sofa and wood stove, a dressing room, a bathroom with bathtub/shower, sink, bidet and toilet. On the first floor there is a bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with 2 single beds, a half bathroom with a sink and toilet. You will also find some children's games and books. Upon request, we can provide you with a cot with bars, a high chair, and other accessories for your small children. The outdoor spaces offer a terrace with a swing, a large garden with chairs, deckchairs, an umbrella, and a large dining table. A short walk from the house you will find the summer municipal swimming pool with bar and e-bike rental, a restaurant-pizzeria, as well as a children's playground and a large parking lot. Guest access Guests can access the entire house, garden, and surrounding outdoor space. They can also use the basic foods in the house (coffee, tea, herbal teas, milk, sweets, oil, vinegar, salt, sugar, spices). Dogs are welcome. I remind you that it is necessary to notify their presence in advance. Other things to note The house does not have WiFi There are no grocery stores in the village, but you will find one in Cravanzana, a 5-minute drive away. In Cortemilia, which is only 7.5 km away, you will find supermarkets and all kinds of services. The location is strategic to reach the beautiful Ligurian Sea in 1 hour by car, while in half an hour you will reach Alba, the world capital of white truffles, as well as Barolo and Barbaresco, famous for the renowned landscapes, vineyards and food of the Langhe.
