La casa del Nonno is located in the small town of Torre Bormida and enjoys a quiet location in the Langhe hills. It is the ideal accommodation for families with children, for those who love to feel immersed in nature and enjoy the delicacies of the area, and for those who practice outdoor activities. During your stay, you can hike and bike in the colors, scents, and sounds of the most pristine nature, relax in the garden or on the swing on the terrace. The space The house, on the ground floor, has an equipped kitchen (stovetop, refrigerator/freezer, toaster, coffee machine, electric kettle), a large living room with sofa and wood stove, a dressing room, a bathroom with bathtub/shower, sink, bidet and toilet. On the first floor there is a bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with 2 single beds, a half bathroom with a sink and toilet. You will also find some children's games and books. Upon request, we can provide you with a cot with bars, a high chair, and other accessories for your small children. The outdoor spaces offer a terrace with a swing, a large garden with chairs, deckchairs, an umbrella, and a large dining table. A short walk from the house you will find the summer municipal swimming pool with bar and e-bike rental, a restaurant-pizzeria, as well as a children's playground and a large parking lot. They can also use the basic foods in the house (coffee, tea, herbal teas, milk, sweets, oil, vinegar, salt, sugar, spices). Dogs are welcome. Other things to note The house does not have WiFi There are no grocery stores in the village, but you will find one in Cravanzana, a 5-minute drive away. In Cortemilia, which is only 7.5 km away, you will find supermarkets and all kinds of services. The location is strategic to reach the beautiful Ligurian Sea in 1 hour by car, while in half an hour you will reach Alba, the world capital of white truffles, as well as Barolo and Barbaresco, famous for the renowned landscapes, vineyards and food of the Langhe.
