Very cozy apartment in an old farm renovated according to building biology principles in the district of Birkland/Hofen. The 64 m² apartment was very individually furnished with a lot of finesse and taste in 2023 and can accommodate 2-3 people. In the hamlet of Hofen there are only 8 properties, 4 of which are traditional dairy farms. No traffic noise disturbs the peace. As a shopping option, the small supermarket with its own butcher shop, bakery and garden center is available in the village of Herzogsägmühle, 6 km away. Larger shops can be found in Peiting or Schongau. In the nearby restaurant "Zauberhütte" you can enjoy the fantastic mountain view with a piece of cake. The apartment "Beim Sattler" has a living/dining room with a fully equipped kitchenette on the ground floor. The bathroom is equipped with a shower/toilet, sink and hairdryer. Via the hall with wardrobe and shoe bench you can reach the 1st floor. There is the bedroom with a large double bed (2 x 2 meters/high-quality mattresses), wardrobe and large dresser. If required, a toddler crib can be rented. Between the bedroom and the stairs, an open loggia with TV and reading room was set up. There is a sofa bed (1.25 x 2 m) available for another person. The entire apartment is equipped with oiled wooden floors (except in the bathroom), loving details provide a "homey" atmosphere. Right in front of the private entrance is the east terrace with seating and barbecue, a small garden and the car parking space. Lockable storage is available for bicycles or skis. Attention - for small children there is an increased duty of supervision, as our pond is right next door. What can you experience? The idyllic Moorsee at the "Seehäusl" with lawn and coffee restaurant and Greek cuisine beckons you to swim. Accessible by car or by bicycle. Or you can visit the town of Dießen a. Ammersee and combine a bathing excursion with a steamer ride. A public wave pool in Peiting as well as the adventure pool "Plantsch" in Schongau with a slide and sauna area are also worth a visit.
