The Stone House Siga Siga is a contemporary traditional Nisyros home, constructed from volcanic rocks that were restored on-site. The house and its extensive outdoor areas were designed and built in 2020 by the renowned Nisyrian architect and restoration expert, GiorgisTsironis. Set on 2 acres of tranquil terraced land, planted with ancient trees, the house has 180-degree views to the Aegean Sea. Enjoy serenity and privacy at that comfortable house which hosts up to 5 guests. The space The stone-built Siga Siga residence is located at an elevated position, around the perimeter of the Mandraki settlement, offering a unique view of the sea. The decoration follows traditional features, with stone walls with joints, stone arches, cemented floors, and simple decor. It is surrounded by a farm, providing direct contact with nature, and offers the opportunity for a stay that combines traditional architecture, natural surroundings, seclusion, privacy, and a view of the Aegean Sea. The house is built on two levels. On the ground floor, you will find the fully equipped kitchen, which includes, among other things, two refrigerators, an oven with cooktops, a dishwasher, and a small table for a quick meal. The living room consists of two built-in sofas with cushions and mattresses. One of the sofas can be used as a bed. There is air conditioning on the ground floor. On the upper level, you will find: The main bedroom, with high ceilings and a double bed, which is cooled by both air conditioning and a ceiling fan. It also has a private bathroom and a wardrobe. The large wooden balcony door lets in plenty of light and offers a beautiful view. The second bedroom also has air conditioning. It is smaller, with only two small windows, and the double bed is a raised wooden structure with 3 steps, reaching a height of 1.40 meters. Both beds measure 1.60 meters in width and 2.00 meters in length. In summary, the house can accommodate up to five (5) guests, as follows: there are two bedrooms, each with a double bed and air conditioning, while a sofa-bed is located in the living room/kitchen area, which also has air conditioning. The main bathroom is located next to the bedrooms, is spacious, and has a large opening for light and a view. There is also a dedicated workspace. The outdoor space features a barbecue, two sinks, stone sofas with comfortable cushions and mattresses, where up to twelve people can sit, and a large wooden table that serves as a dining area. This is an ideal environment for relaxation, entertainment, and pleasant gatherings. All areas of the house have WIFI. Guest access Access to the house from the municipal road is via a path of at least 70 meters and 25 steps, totaling about 90 meters in distance. The path is uphill at certain points and requires the use of stairs. The path is lit. Furthermore, the location of the house is around the perimeter of the settlement. To reach the settlement, you will need to walk a distance of approximately 30-40 minutes, with uphill sections. We recommend using a vehicle.
