Adventure awaits you in this rustic getaway. This Victorian styled cottage built in ashlar stone masonry is situated amidst an orchard spread across an acre, overlooking the Chail reserve forest. A natural water body lies next to our premises and if you are the one who wants to get soaked in nature’s bounty, then this is the right place to spend your vacations. Silence speaks here & the only sound you can hear is of chirping birds or the sound of the wind in the trees or rustling of leaves. The space The property at Koti, a tiny hamlet close to Chail and Shimla awaits those who love to go off the beaten path. Go for long treks through forested hills or walk through the village footpath which cross-crosses the vegetable farms and apple orchards leading to the village market. The 1 BHK unit has a living room having a sofa cum bed, a kitchenette, bedroom having king size bed with attached bathroom. The balcony overlooks the valley. We equip the kitchenette with utensils and gas stove only for guests opting for long term stay or upon prior request by our guests. Guest access The front lawn looks out at the rear of Chail Reserve Forest and overlooks the Sainj Valley. The gazebo is a perfect outdoor dining spot. Other things to note > The property is off the beaten path and the road is unmetalled for 1 kilometre. For those who have small cars and haven’t driven in the hills, we provide trained drivers at cost (Rs 200 directly to be given to the local driver) who drive down your vehicles up to the property. But we need advance intimation from guests regarding this. > Please check-in only during day time. Night time check in to be avoided otherwise request for a local driver who can drive the car to the property from the Chail-Kufri road, a distance of 1 kilometre. > It’s a village property in offbeat location, power cuts happen and there’s no backup arrangement. > Home-cooked vegetarian meals can be provided on order, otherwise self cooking option is there. Our caretaker helps you with buying grocery items and delivering it to you once a day.
