THE AREA The apartment is a short walk from the Natural History Museum La Specola, in one of the most historic streets of Florence, that despite the years has changed its appearance, has maintained its village atmosphere vein that you still can feel. This historic district "Oltrarno", is also known as the the district of Handcrafts and Artists, full of stories to tell and emotions to live. Probably this is the reason why the de Medici family chose to establish here his residence in the magnificent Palazzo Pitti. We are also very close to the new and vibrant Florentine "nightlife", with its many restaurants/taverns, pubs and caffés, that come alive especially in summer on the squares and streets with their outdoor tables. Here you can enjoy the best Tuscan dishes either for an informal lunch, or for a romantic dinner.
