The space The apartment features a living room, two bedrooms, a kitchen, a toilet, a bathroom, a wood-fired sauna, and a utility room. In addition, there is a cozy old-fashioned glass veranda. The apartment can accommodate up to 8 guests. The master bedroom has a 160 cm double bed and a 90 cm single bed. The second bedroom has a sofa bed that measures 80 cm when folded and 160 cm when extended. Two armchairs can also be converted into beds. Additionally, there is a spare bed and a travel cot available for little guests. The master bedroom closets are stocked with bed linens, towels, blankets, and pillows. The second bedroom includes toys, books, games, and drawing supplies for children. It also features a remote work space with a large solid wood desk and an ergonomic chair. The kitchen has a dining table for 4, extendable to seat 6. A high chair is available for little guests. Kitchen amenities include a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, and toaster. Coffee, tea, and other dry goods are available for guests to use. In the basement, you’ll find the utility room, a bathroom, and a wood-fired sauna, perfect for relaxing in gentle heat. Hygiene products, a washing machine, and a dryer are available for guests’ use. Please note that the basement ceiling is lower than the main floor. Guest access The guest has access to the entire house, except for the technical facilities, which are managed by the owners. We will provide you with the key box code prior to check-in. Other things to note You can easily get to the center of Oulu by bus or car, where you will find a lot to do. If shopping is your jam, we recommend checking out Ideapark and Valkea shopping malls. Both have a wide array of quirky shops and cozy restaurants and cafés, too. The center of Kello is just 500 meters away from the house if you choose to walk, while it's approximately 1 kilometer away if you prefer to drive. In the center you will find two grocery stores, a gas station, a kiosk, a pharmacy, a hair salon, and a pizzeria. There is also a nearby gym that you can easily walk to. If you go a few kilometers in the direction of Haukipudas, you can find more shops. The center of Haukipudas also has a swimming hall that you can visit. Kiviniemi harbor is about 3 km away. You can admire the sailing boats and the beautiful seascape there. Stop by Kalapuohi, a small shop specializing in local fish delica-cies. Indulge in its famous salmon soup or buy local specialties to take home. Virpiniemi Sports and Nature Center is located 10 km away from our house. You can enjoy multi-ple activities throughout the year, such as hiking on the idyllic coast of Bothnian Bay. The center offers trails for walking, forest tracks, ski trails, horseback riding, swimming beaches, berry forests, sledding hills, and open fireplaces. You can also find a frisbee golf course and a golf course there. For those traveling with dogs, there is a dog forest in the area, which we recommend trying. Please also inform us about the dog when booking. If you come with a dog, please clean up the dog's waste from the yard before you checkout. there are also dogs in the neighborhood, make sure your dog does not disturb other dogs. In winter, you should visit Ruskotunturi, which is about 10 kilometers away. You can ski on the slopes of Ruskotunturi. There are also sledding hills for children.
