Beginning with a Benedictine Monastery in the 8th century, the medieval town has hardly changed over 800 years. Many buildings are listed in the French national heritage records. The streets are bordered by old houses and artists' and craft shops. Sunday mornings, a market is held in the town! Sports and outdoor activities include climbing, hiking and mountain biking, canoe-kayaking and fishing.
