Located in Barr, in the historic heart of Alsace’s wine capital, our home accommodates up to 5 guests (+ one baby). You’ll enjoy top-quality comfort with two beautiful bedrooms, a furnished balcony, and a secure storage room for bicycles. The space In the historic heart of Alsace's wine-growing capital, discover our cozy 4-star holiday home in Barr, a village located at the foot of Mont Saint Odile between Obernai and Sélestat. From this destination steeped in history and tradition, you can set off to explore Central Alsace with its vineyards and half-timbered houses amid the Vosges and the Black Forest. Set in an 18th-century building we offer you the very highest standards of comfort for an authentic stay full of charm. “Chez l'Alsacien" is a 3-room holiday apartment offering 67m² of living space for up to 5 people (plus a cot on request). It has been completely renovated with great care, preserving the original materials and furnished mainly with authentic antique furniture found during our travels. The spacious apartment features two beautiful bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with all modern conveniences, a cozy living area, a bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a furnished balcony. Cyclists are warmly welcomed with our secure storage room, ideal for exploring the region's extensive cycling routes. In winter, the snow shuttle bus "Navette des Neiges" departs from Barr, providing direct access to the ski slopes of Champ du Feu. Guest access Where to park : We inform you that the inner courtyard of the building is private and parking is not permitted, except for short-term loading and unloading. The nearest car park is the PARKING DU COLLÈGE (or STAHL) at 21 rue du Collège, just opposite the building entrance. Just cross the road and you'll be there. Parking is free but regulated and limited to 2 hours on weekdays. So don't forget to put a disc on your windscreen and update it regularly. If necessary, a blue disc is available in the apartment. A few metres further on, at 15 rue du Collège, the PARKING DEGERMANN (or PARKING DU COLLÈGE 2) is outside the restricted zone, so parking is unlimited and totally free of charge. Other things to note The accommodation is located at 32 rue du Collège in Barr, on the second floor, 300 m from the town hall and tourist office. The entrance is under the porch at number 34. We welcome you between 4pm and 7pm, with departures no later than 11am. Arrival outside these times is possible on request. The lodging is non-smoking. For reasons of hygiene, pets are unfortunately not allowed. Baby equipment can be provided free of charge.
