Barn Loft Glamping
Description
This is a funky barn glamp experience for those up for some adventure. All guests must be at least 12 years old, comfortable with heights, able to climb a 10 foot vertical ladder and weigh less than 225lbs. Camp in the dry barn, bring your own bedding but forget the tent! Have use of a composting outhouse, access to water and electricity, bonfire pit, dishwashing station, and covered and outdoor tables. The barn loft has a large floor tarp and/or a tent with a twin mattress for your bedding. The space The big yellow barn is the hub of farm activities. Tucked under the roof of the barn up in the loft you'll have a sweet and dry (!) vantage point. Sleep on the twin mattress in inside the tent or out in the open on the tarp. Either way you will be dry. Just remember your own bedding! There are yard games like croquet, bocce, frisbee, Speedminton and giant Jenga for use on the arena which, thanks to no light pollution, is also a great place for star-gazing. The giant swing is a must try! It is highly recommended that you arrive before dark to park correctly and get oriented to the space. Bring your own flashlights (headlamps are ideal for hands free operating) for navigating the barn and surrounding areas after dark. Barn spotlights are NOT for guest use. Bring your own firewood or I have bundles available for $8. Also, farm fresh eggs are available seasonally for $3.50 for a half-dozen, just ask. Mud boots are highly recommended for getting around the farm. We welcome all pleasant and respectful people at Cool Creek Farm! Come and go as you please but please plan to respect extreme quiet hours from 10:30pm to 6:30am when you are on-site. We can accommodate horses for overnight lodging too, ask for details! Guest access The guest spaces include the barn loft, barn aisle, arena, bonfire and picnic area, the outhouse and large swing. Please arrive before dark to orient to these locations. Be prepared for all temperatures. Vehicle idling for cooling or warmth is not allowed. There is a mini fridge available for use in the barn for an additional nightly fee, please inquire. When exiting the farm pull forward only to move around the circular driveway, do not turn around at the barn. During your stay I am available by text or email and I’m usually at the farm. I like to learn a bit about my guests and make sure they feel settled but give them their space. Other things to note Bring your own firewood or I have dry bundles for $8.
