Leo’s Lodge bij Enschede/Boekelo

The guesthouse is located in a rural stetting with a fantastic view. Enjoy it from the sitting area in the Lodge or from your own private terrace. With a little bit of luck you will wake up by the bird’s singing and have your breakfast on the terrace whilst spotting a woodpecker or some cows. A 9 hole golf course is located at 1 kilometer from from the Lodge. A championship course is found at a 20 minutes drive at the Twentsche Golfclub. If you want to play and I have time, I can invite you. Leo's Lodge is located in the former, renovated gallery behind the main house. It has a well equipped separate kitchen and a bathroom. There is a small bedroom with bunkbeds and the large space of the Lodge is divided in a sitting area and a sleeping area with a queenside bed. When we are not home you may open the large barn doors and enjoy the morning sun from your bed. To let more light in, the roof of Leo's Lodge has a kind of plastic-glass part that could be noisy when raining heavily. We live on the property as well and you might see us walk around with the dogs or may-be light the bonfire at night. In that case, you are welcome to join us. The entire backyard is your property when you stay at Leo's Lodge. The fire pit makes for cozy evenings; only if there is no drought. The washing machine and/or dryer, may be used in the utility room of the main house. I'm often at home and if I'm on the road or away, you can call me or reach me via What's-app. Quiet neighbourhood, forested, countryside. Best to get around by car. Parking on the premises. Great environment for cycling. If possible within my schedule I can pick you up at Hengelo train station. I will have to charge €2,90 tourist tax per person, per night. To be paid in cash at the property There are two sweet dogs on the property. Rembrandt, the kind of Labrador from Tunisia and Truusje, the kind of Labradoodle mixed with a Spanish water dog. They could enter Leo's Lodge uninvited. If you don't want that, send them away with the "buiten" command, which means outside. A children travel bed (kind of stay and play) is available at a price of € 15,00. Keep in mind that the Lodge is not specifically catered towards little childen.
