Home sweet home near Brantôme: The Iris bedroom

Welcome to La Croix des Granges, our little paradise, a 17th century farm, with a romantic garden, 8 acres of woodland and for your relaxation a 18m x 3,5m swimming pool facing the woods. Our 4 spacious guestrooms (Hibiscus, Jasmin, Iris and Magnolia) from 20 to 26 m² (from 25 to 39 m² including the bathroom) all enjoy a private ensuite bathroom with bath or shower and toilet and a beautiful view. Guests on the first floor can enjoy either the white or the black lounges to work, and rest. The space The IRIS bedroom (20m2) is situated on the 1st floor. It overlooks the vegetable garden and our beautiful barn. It is equipped with a queensize bed (160cm x 200cm) and enjoys a private ensuite bathroom with bath and toilet (total bedroom area 26 m2). The Iris bedroom benefits from an access that is independent from that of the hosts, with the garden staircase, an access shared only with the Jasmin bedroom and the Magnolia bedroom. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE IRIS BEDROOM CAN BE RENTED WITH THE JASMIN BEDROOM AND TWO LOUNGES. THIS PART OF THE HOUSE, WHICH ENJOYS A PRIVATE ACCESS, CAN BE COMPLETELY PRIVATE. Guest access Hosts have access to the 18X3,5 m swimming pool and deck chairs from 11 am till 5 pm During your stay Gourmet breakfast Our à la carte gourmet breakfast is available on request (15 €/adult and 7 €/child) with a choice of tea/coffee/hot chocolate, pastries (croissant/ pain au chocolat), bread & home made jam, fruit juice, home made yogurt, hard boiled egg/ scrambled eggs. I don't do table d'hôtes, but in the land of « greed », we propose some savoury terroir products on request (starter +main course + pudding) 30€ /person Other things to note Our swimming pool is equipped with an electric cover, but there is no safety barrier, so children cannot have access to the pool without their parents and since the pool is shared with our guests staying in our 3 guest rooms, we ask our hosts to respect the privacy of others.
