A bus service is available to connect the port with Chora, as well as other fascinating destinations on the island. For those seeking greater flexibility in exploring the island, the option to rent a bike or a car is also available. The road distance to the village is about 4 kilometers. There is also a shorter footpath, which will take you there after 20-25 minutes of walking. Walking down from the village is far easier than the other way around. It provides an easy way to enjoy night life in the village and return by foot. Other things to note In the port area you may find restaurant, ATM machine, and a coffee shop. This season a new mini market will be operating in the area. Other areas where you will find food and entertainment are Kleisidi, Chora and Roukounas. Mobile phone signal in the port area is available for the following carriers: wind (high), cosmote (medium), while for vodafone there is no signal; if you have to use vodafone carrier, you have to walk to the far end of the port, or you may use wifi-calling service when connected to wifi. All the beaches after Klisidi have no mobile signal whatsoever. Please note that access to the rooms is through a set of stairs, and are best suited for guests who enjoy walking and are comfortable with stairs. The elevated location of the rooms offers stunning views and a sense of tranquility that comes with being perched above the surrounding landscape. Also, there is a faint sound coming from the local electricity generating station. People usually do not notice it. Breakfast is not included in the price.
