Nestled in the shade of the Lake Almanor Pines neighborhood, our rustic cedar cabin boasts the comforts of a secluded getaway with the convenience to many nearby attractions including Mt Lassen National Park. Launch your boat at the Marina or Canyon Dam to have a fun-filled day of water sports or fishing. Visit Bailey Creek Golf Course, play Pickleball at Lake Almanor County Club, visit local restaurants, coffee shop, grocery store, microbrewery, and gas station nearby. Sorry, No Pets Allowed. The space Our three-bedroom, two-bathroom main cabin impresses with cedar-lined ceilings, exposed beams with large windows, modernly appointed kitchen, freshly remodeled bathrooms, and an outdoor fire-pit. Perfect for teenagers or when traveling with friends, our Guest Bunkhouse Cabin sleeps four and offers a loft, couch and tv. Electric blankets and a heater keep the Bunkhouse toasty warm during colder days. Note: Bunkhouse has a ladder to access loft. Our kitchen is fully stocked with spices, cooking oil, pots and pans, dishes, flatware, coffee machine with drip and single serve, hot water kettle, food processor, Instant Pot, blender, dual fuel gas range, microwave, and refrigerator/freezer with automatic icemaker. Evening entertainment is a breeze with our collection of DVD’s and DVD/BlueRay player, SmartTV, as well as puzzles, and games. The Corn hole boards will entertain you for hours! For those traveling with small children, a highchair and Pack and Play are also provided. Outside is an eating area with a large table and 10 chairs. There are two outdoor grills, a Treager pellet smoker and a Treager flat cast iron grill . Firewood is provided for the fire pit. NOTE: This is a cabin in the wooded mountains of Northern California. We maintain natural spiders/bugs with monthly pest control for our guest's comfort but cannot control every tiny spider that feels more comfortable inside than out. You may encounter an occasional web or strand. Please let us know during your stay if we can take care of any pest problem and we will do our utmost to accommodate your request to ensure you have a comfortable stay. Guest access There is ample paved parking at the front of cabin and around the back in front of Guest cabin/Bunkhouse. There is room at the bottom to park a boat. Please don't drive on the grass edges due to in-ground sprinklers located along the back driveway. Please do not park on the street, as it is not allowed. Note: golf carts are not allowed on the streets as we are not located inside the Country Club. Other things to note Westwood Beach is a swimming option and is only a few miles from our place. If you don't care to launch your boat at the Marina, Canyon Dam has a free boat launch and is approximately 12 miles away, located at the other side of the lake. Take a picnic, your bikes to ride the paved bike trail, and enjoy a fun day on the lake. Firewood is provided for the fire pit area.
