Natural swimming pool 15x10 m The farm is secluded in a valley, only 1 km from the lake of Puydarrieux. The lake of Castelnau Magnoac, (swimming) is 8 km away. Internet access in every room. The space The former farmhouse has 2 apartments, both rented as gîte. The apartment offered here is the main house, south orientation. Each gîte has its own privacy, this gîte has a south-facing terrace with garden furniture and parasol and 2 parking spaces, even a possibility to charge your electric car. The house has 4 very large bright rooms, 2 bedrooms, a large bathroom with shower, toilet and bidet, a very large fully equipped kitchen with 4-burner gas stove, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, large dining table with 6 chairs. The house is made of clay, i.e. in summer it stays pleasantly cool with proper ventilation. On the upper floor are the 2 large bedrooms, both with double bed (140x190) and a single bed (90x1.90 cm), work table with chair, wardrobe, bedside table. On the lower floor, to the left is the large kitchen, to the right a living room with sofa bed, single bed, desk, armchairs and coffee table. This room can be used as an additional bedroom. The house is largely ecologically renovated, very good insulation, clay plaster walls. The property has not been treated chemically for over 20 years and there is a large variety of animals and plants. There is a communal natural swimming pool on the property. A few words about it: 50% of the guests are enthusiastic and use it daily, the other 50% are not enthusiastic because the water is green in summer but wonderful. It is continuously filtered by a separate filter trench with aquatic plants. Due to its depth of 1.70 m, the swimming pond is not suitable for children who cannot swim! Guest access You have the right half of the house to yourselves, There is a south-facing terrace overlooking the property, garden table, umbrella, chairs. 2 parking spaces are available to you. If you come as several families, the 2nd gîte on the left can be rented. A few words about the natural swimming pool: 50% of guests are thrilled, 50% wrinkle their noses. We live on and from the farm. We generate electricity for 6 households, the warm water is solar-heated, waste separation is a matter of course, electrical appliances with low consumption and LED lamps are installed everywhere. We refill shampoo, shower gel, dishwasher detergent and clean the apartments with ecological cleaning agents, as well as washing the laundry with products from the Biocoop. You can charge your electric bikes and your car with us (no wallbox). Motorbikes and bikes can be safely stored in a large barn.
