A lovely hillside home at a short distance from Lerici , the Cinque Terre , the Apuane Alps , the mountain trails of the Parco dell'Appennino Tosco-Emiliano , Parma , Lucca , Pisa , Pistoia , Firenze . Hello , I am Giorgio , your host . Over the last 20 my wife Andrea and I have renovated the old stables and hay loft my grandfather used for his cows in the locality known as Picarasco . It was already unique . Now it is also comfortable The space The house is at 4 km from Bagnone on the south-facing slopes of Monte Barca . It is surrounded by oaks and chestnut trees and easy to reach by car . Access is through a wide gate , connected to the house by a short paved drive one can also park on . From the ample porch on the ground floor you can enter both the large , bright and well accessorized kitchen and the sitting room with sat TV and its amazing rock walls . There is also a small bathroom on the ground floor with a shower cubicle and a bidet . From the kitchen you go up to the first floor where two large bedrooms open out onto a sunny terrace with a view of the valley and the woods . The first bedroom has a king sized bed , a large 4 seasons wardrobe and a chest of drawers . The second bedroom can have a double bed or twins, and has a working area . The larger bathroom is upstairs and has a walk in shower and a bidet . The backdoor is on the landing and opens onto a smaller terrace . Up 3 steps and you are on the lawn at the back of the house . The width of the walls and the gentle breeze we usually get make air conditioning unnecessary . One must of course remember to close the blinds at the front during the hottest hours of the day . Outdoors you have the ground floor porch with table and chairs for 4 and a barbecue area . It can be shielded from strong sunlight and has a lovely view of the valley and garden . The upstairs front terrace with arm chairs , a small table and a beach umbrella has the same view . The back terrace , ideal for those who prefer shade in the afternoon . The area with sun loungers on the back lawn . The whole natural garden which is completely fenced , shady and cool even in boiling summer weather .
