The living and dining area is just striking - thanks to the large windows, astounding art-pieces and handsome marble surfaces. As well as letting in copious amounts of natural light, the glass slides lead out to a charming garden space with a mini-fountain to enjoy foot massages by and some seating for warm evenings. Flanked on the east by the majestic Western Ghats, on the west by open space, and on the south by undisturbed, lush forests, Udaan is an intoxicant for aesthetical calmness.  Dine under the sunset hues while watching a panoramic view of Lonavala. Pets are not allowed.  The Space: BEDROOMS - Have you ever imagined what sleeping in an art gallery would feel like? Experience it at Le Sutra’s - Udaan. - With fascinating art as ethereal backdrops, each of these rooms are named after the pieces of art they have displayed in them. - There are a total of 4 bedrooms at this home - 1 on the ground floor and 3 on the first floor. - Each of these rooms are equipped with plush amenities like a comfortable double bed, AC, a 55-inch smart TV, and Wi-Fi access. - The bedroom on the ground floor offers direct access to the lawn whereas 2 of the bedrooms on the first floor offer L-shaped balconies with seating to relax and unwind by the views. - The fourth bedroom offers airy windows and a compact balcony as well, that allows fresh sunlight and breeze to flow through all day. - Extra mattresses can be provided at an additional charge. BATHROOMS - There are 4 ensuite bathrooms and 3 powder rooms - 1 on the ground floor, 1 on the first and 1 on the terrace. - All bathrooms have geysers, towels and basic toiletries. COMMON AREAS - Hold hands with the gates of Udaan and step into this art villa, who’s piece and corner tells a story of fantasy and flight. - On entering the huge facade of the property, the ‘Ullu De Patthe’ is an eclectic piece of art that is sure to catch your eye. This striking sculpture displays the parent owls seated on the edge of the crescent while their little owlets are attempting Yoga Asanas which is just so engrossing to look at. - Walk a little further and you’re at the door. And oh, the door! This thoughtfully designed door is something you wouldn't be able to resist staring at for quite some time. - And when you finally enter the home, you will be welcomed by the quaint seating nook and the plush, cosy living area with the magnificent wall-relief mural depicting Indra's flying vehicle, Airavat and its journey from heaven to earth. - This living room is equipped with plush sofas offering seating for up to 11 people, AC, a 65-inch TV, a music system, Wi-Fi, and direct access to the lush lawn. - Just a few steps away is the dining area perfect for a delectable meal for a group of 8. - When you take the stairs, you will come across the hand-carved peacock mirror, a simple but breathtaking piece of art you’d love to click an aesthetic selfie at before you head up to the first floor. - The lounge area on the first floor is one of our favourite spots. It’s decked with chic-elegant decor, a sofa to admire the mesmerising views of the surroundings and a passage that’s no less than a corridor of an art gallery, that leads to the bedroom and powder bathroom. - There’s a balcony with chairs set up so you can enjoy your evening coffee here. And for a closer, more panoramic view of the Lonavala hills, head up to the terrace and let the fresh, wafting breeze flow through your hair.  - With a rooftop dining set-up, you can enjoy some mimosas and desserts as you enjoy a relaxing time in the al-fresco jacuzzi. KITCHEN - Guests may use the kitchen to prepare their own meals at an additional cost of Rs. 6000 per day, plus taxes. - It is equipped with a microwave, gas stove, oven, refrigerator, water purifier, toaster, induction plate and a mixer-grinder.  - Crockery and cutlery are available. FOOD - All vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals can be provided in-house at an additional cost. - The meal package includes breakfast, lunch, high tea and dinner. - Consumption of non-vegetarian food is allowed. Guest access The guests have access to the entire villa. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, guests may have restricted access to any shared amenities. Other things to note STAFF ACCOMMODATION We are unable to provide accommodation for your personal staff. HANDPICKED EXPERIENCES Nestled in a calm natural setting, no matter which part of the house you decide to lounge in, it will always seem like pacifying in the lap of quietude. As evening falls, you can head to this garden space and have a scrumptious meal from the epic Anglo Indian Cafe & Bistro. If you’re a sky person, we can help you move the picnic up on the rooftop. Dine under the sunset hues while watching a panoramic view of Lonavala. After all, you need a magical spot to devour the irresistible culinary delights offered at this property. If you wish to change the scenery a little bit, you don't even have to go far to find things to do in the neighbourhood. Just a short drive away, there's a peaceful spot you can enjoy irresistible bhuttas with a view of the Pawna Lake or head to Mapro Garden and let them spoil you with their unending spread of jams, crushes, squashes, ice-creams and grilled sandwiches. When you head back, end the night with some indoor games and fun times in the lounge area before you snuggle on the comfortable bedrooms. Wake up to the tranquil sunrise & the echoed music of the songbirds that surround you at Udaan. ADD-ON SERVICES - Extra mattresses can be provided, on request at an additional charge. - A padel court is available at an additional cost of ₹2,200 per hour (including GST), with racket rentals at ₹250 each and a bucket of balls at ₹700. - Guests will be responsible for the cost of a replacement if the racquet is damaged or broken during use. - The luxurious jacuzzi can be accessed at no additional charge. - Prices may vary subject to availability and peak season rates. HOME TRUTHS While we do promise you a welcoming home and a great stay, here are a few things we’d like to mention so as to ensure there are no unpleasant surprises later! - The location of this villa is secluded. -Please note that there is ongoing construction adjacent to the property, which may result in disruptions and inconvenience. - The elevator is accessible to guests, but for your safety, please avoid using it during power cuts. - This is not a pet-friendly property. - In case of a power outage, the generator can support all the appliances for up to 6 hours.  - Jio, Airtel and Vodafone mobile networks work fairly well here. - Cooking and consumption of non-vegetarian food is allowed at an additional cost. - Please be mindful and keep noise to a minimum after 10 PM. - Guests are advised to shut the windows once it’s dark during monsoon. Given the presence of greenery around, it is prone to insects or bugs. - There are CCTV cameras that capture the external areas for security purposes.  - The caretaker stays on the premises of the same property.  - Guests can stay connected with complimentary Wi-Fi. Network is subject to availability at any given time.
