Hida Kanayama Ancient House Inn - Onya -

We renovated a 100-year-old house that was formerly a midwifery home. There is an izakaya on the first floor, and the building is wrapped in a Showa retro atmosphere, making it a cozy izakaya and inn where locals gather. Located in the heart of Kanayama-cho, Gero City, you can enjoy it all year round in conjunction with tourist spots and local activities. The accommodation is very convenient because it is close to a nearby hot spring facility, station, convenience store, and drug store. With the help of the locals, we were able to open a long-awaited accommodation in the izakaya we started. We named it "Onkaya" with the motto of "returning the favor" and "making you feel at home" so that you can stay in a house that is needed in the community.
