The strawbale cottage consists of 2 bedrooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchenette with a fridge, coffee pod machine, and 1 bathroom with a bidet and a shower. Tea, coffee, towels, robes, bed linen are provided. The space The Strawbale Cottage at Wingspread is set amongst a 3 acre cottage and productive gardens on a 110 acre lifestyle property in Strath Creek. This eco, off-grid, farm stay accommodation is nestled amongst natures beauty of The Kinglake Ranges, Mt Disappointment and the Tallarook State Forests. The cottage is 100% off grid, powered by solar and batteries. We are also a rain water property. Note: Due to this property being a working farm with livestock, ponds & dams it is not suitable or safe for small children. There is lots of native wildlife with visitors like Echidnas, Wombats and many native birds like the King Parrot. However you may also encounter insects, creepy crawlies and seasonal reptiles. For the safety of everyone, we kindly ask that pets remain on a lead at all times as snakes are sometimes spotted in the area. We share this space with nature and wildlife. Other things to note The wood fired hot tub can take 3-5hrs to warm up. Please allow plenty of time if you want to use it. Pre lighting can be arranged as an additional service.
