The whole basement area, here is a summer kitchen, a shower, a sauna as well as a leisure and relaxation room, is completely tiled. On the ground floor (approx. 90 sqm) is the entrance area, the guest toilet, the fully equipped kitchen, as well as the living and dining area and adjacent to it the fireplace room. The ground floor area is also completely tiled and has underfloor heating. Through the living and dining area or the fireplace room you can reach the large garden (approx. 1000sqm), which invites you to feel good. The terrace is partly covered. An outdoor fireplace provides a nice ambience in the evening. Barbecuing is also possible. On the next floor in the house are three cosily furnished double rooms. All rooms have laminate or vinyl floors. The beds, some of them box spring beds, have high-quality mattresses. There are plenty of pillows. Each room has a flat-screen TV. Extra beds are also available on request. Each room has its own balcony with outdoor furniture. A spacious bathroom (20 sqm) with toilet, shower, bathtub and washbasin is also located on the floor. In addition to a wall radiator, this has underfloor heating. For all guests with an e-car, charging is free of charge during the stay. Our holiday home is a low-energy house. It has a solar system and a heat pump. All our guests are welcome. Get out, breathe deeply, recharge your batteries. Our holiday home is located in Waldfisch, a small district of Bad Salzungen in the Thuringian Forest. The place is ideal for a short walk to admire historical buildings, but it is also a starting point for people interested in history, hikers, cyclists, motorcyclists and nature lovers. Walk in the footsteps of medieval history. Visit Wartburg Castle in Eisenach. One of the most famous castles in Germany. Admire the art treasures and the view.Learn more about the history of Martin Luther, Johann Sebastian Bach and Saint Elisabeth. Walk through the Drachenschlucht, it is narrow and fascinating, surrounded by high rock walls, along a small stream. The Rennsteig is also an annual destination for a great many tourists. The fauna and flora are indescribable. If you want a more relaxed experience, you are welcome to go to one of the many lakes in the vicinity, which invite you to take a swim. The neighbouring spa towns of Bad Salzungen and Bad Liebenstein have many other sights and activities to offer, including the graduation house and the brine and adventure pool, the planetarium or the show mine in Merkers. In Waldfisch there is an hourly bus connection to Bad Salzungen and Eisenach.
