Another aspect we love are the 3 upstairs bedrooms and the two newly renovated bathrooms, with the upstairs master bedroom having a newly renovated on-suite bathroom that has a whirlpool soaker tub, glass shower enclosure and Carrara marble double sink vanities. The house also has a second Master Bedroom on the main floor with its own full bathroom and shower. An extra half bath is also on the main floor. The property is located in the mid-Hudson Valley just 70 miles North of NYC, surrounded by a 700-acre horse farm (with no other homes in sight) perched on the high plane overlooking the Shawangunk Ridge (the Gunks). Walking from the property you can see all the horses, including baby horses, you can walk to the Shawangunk Grasslands, or hike down to the Shawangunk river. The property is not only centrally located to activities in the Mid Hudson Valley but also very close to Minewaska State Park, Mohonk Preserve & Mountain House, the Ulster County Fair Grounds and SUNY New Paltz. We are on the Shawangunk Wine Trail and within 5 minutes of the Wallkill Railtrail. We also have great restaurants within 10 minutes and we have a 5-star rated Day Spa on the premises, offering Massage, Facials and Bodywraps by appointment. The property is just 15 min from Huguenot Street in New Paltz, Walkway Over the Hudson, plus it’s 5 minutes from the Angry Orchard Tasting room, Whitecliff Winery and Shawangunk Grasslands for bird watching. There are 3 to 4 spots for parking on the driveway. Other things to note Situated between 2 rivers, the Wallkill and Shawangunk, the property is high up on a ridge, which (besides from the spectacular views) offers a cooling breeze on hot summer days.
