Maple Lane Farm Stay

Maple Lane Farm Stay is a beautiful country escape, located just 5 minutes from the Benalla township, on the road to the picturesque Tatong valley and the iconic Tatong Tavern. Set on the grounds of our 90 acre farm 'Decollatura', we primarily run cattle, but also play host to sheep, ducks, chooks, bees & dogs! It is the perfect place to unwind, enjoy watching animals graze by day, observe stunning sunsets in the evening and amazing stars display by night. The space The accommodation consists of a double storey, rustic country style shed conversion, that is fully renovated and overlooking the farm. Upstairs it has two Queen bedrooms, plus a lounge with a queen sofa bed and a powder room. Downstairs consists of a lounge, wood fire (wood provided), full kitchen, 6 seater dining setting, European laundry and bathroom with shower and toilet. Outside has two spaces, one with outdoor dining and bbq, plus another area with a fire pit (wood provided), seating & an outdoor cast iron bath to relax in! Undercover parking for a single vehicle, plus further parking areas to accommodate car and trailer if required. Valco portacot and high chair available on request. *Please keep in mind that there are stairs. Guest access Farmstay accommodation, outdoor areas, carport and main driveway. Other things to note The hosts live on the farm with children in the main residence, which is strictly private. The main driveway is shared, please keep an eye out for children playing! This is a working farm. Sometimes there could be animal or machinery noises, or unusual scents. There may be an opportunity to get up close through the fence, with cattle & sheep along the driveway, or say hello to the family dogs if guests would like to. There is a potential to see a variety of domestic, farm and wild animals on this property, which may also include foxes, spiders, snakes, various critters, mice, birds.
