This renovated and cosy vacation home is fully equipped for families, friends and employees! It is located on the West-Frisian Omringdyke and the lake 'Markermeer' (also known as 'IJsselmeer'). And has an unique view of the Dutch windmill! Come and enjoy the vieuws and soothing animal sounds. The vacation home is nearby beaches & a (kite)surf spot (1.2 km). And is centrally located with the historic city of Hoorn at 3.5 km! Also you can relax even more with our extra services! Up to 8 people can stay: * there are 6 beds available for MAX. 7 PERSONS/adults (one double bed, four single beds and one single bed in a bed drawer, suitable up to a max. of 80 kilograms) + we have two bed rails available for children * and there is a extra crib and camp bed available WHAT DOES THE HOLIDAY HOME OFFERS YOU? * Convenience (from made beds, provided towels, cleaning products & toiletries) * Presence of a wide choice of indoor and outdoor entertainment (for young & old) * Small children's layette available and bookable (see further information below) * Extra services for a relaxing stay (a tour of the mill, bicycle rental, shopping service, firewood for campfires, relaxation massage for young and old and/or reiki treatment: based on availability and the costs for this are settled separately from the nightly rate via an invoice/payment request) YOU HAVE THE ENTIRE HOME TO YOURSELF: * Dining room (with French doors + view of sheep & the mill) * Kitchen (with kitchen package of towels/dry towels/cleaning cloths/hand soap/dish soap/detergent/dishwasher tablets/garbage bags + basic amenities for eating/drinking/cooking + coffee/tea/lemonade with a 1st use stock + extras that can be borrowed for free such as pizza retta set/gourmet set) * Living room (with a view of the garden & dike + access to the terrace) * Hall downstairs with toilet and bathroom (including toilet paper, hand soap and towels) * Upper floor with 3 bedrooms, hall and play area (stairs with stair gates) * Fenced private terrace YOU ARE FREE TO USE THE GARDEN, VARIOUS SEATING AND GAMES/TOYS (shared use with owners): * Campfire places (sausage-/marshmallow sticks can be borrowed) * Various seating areas * Grass fields, trampline, forest path in the windbreak, ditches * Sporting outdoor games and toys * Bicycle storage (please let us know when you bring your bikes with you) DO YOU WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THE VACATION HOME? Other things to note A NICE EXTRA: TOUR OF THE MILL! As a guest of the vacation home, you are very welcome at the miller. To view the inside of the mill and get a guided tour! The miller offers it for free, but there is a donation box for a voluntary contribution for maintenance of the mill. TOURIST TAX Hoorn applies a tourist tax of €3.50 p.p. per night for guests aged 13 and over. We will send an invoice / payment request for this before your arrival. Please pay the tourist tax before arrival, then we don't have to worry about it during your relaxing stay. USE OF CHILDCARE SUPPLIES Is your baby, toddler and/or toddler coming along? Then we will (if desired) ensure that all necessary and desired small children's supplies are available for you. These supplies are available on request and for a fee of €30 per child per stay. We will send a payment request for this before your arrival. * The baby childcare supplies consists of: crib, bed linen, changing table, changing mat, wash basin, bath and/or washing bucket, muslin cloths, diaper pail, baby monitor, bouncer, play mat, toys, playpen, high chair, stroller (bath, seat and maxicosie possible) ) and bicycle trailer for maxi cosi. * The toddler childcare supplies consists of: camping bed or extra bed, bed linen, baby monitor, built-in children's toilet seat, step stool, high chair and trip trap seats, pram/buggy, bicycle trailer and handcart in which a young child can sit.
