This is a small victorian from the days of the railroad boom. It was likely used for workers on the rail line. It is just a short walk to the old town plaza via the river walk, Lincoln park, restaurants, bars, and the railroad. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a full size refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, Kurig, and all utensils needed to prepare meals. Fully stocked with coffee and tea. The bathroom are stocked with shampoo and soap and a blow dryer. An iron and board are provided. There's a desk in the living room if you need to work during your stay. The unit has central heat, ceiling fans, flat screen TV, and WIFI. Private entrance and street parking. A code and instruction will be provided upon booking. Easy access to Interstate 25 and a network of country roads. You can take a scenic drive to Santa Fe, Taos, and other northern communities. If you like hiking visit the magnificent Hermits Peak with breathing-taking views. Check out the wildlife refuge. Visit Storrie Lake State Park or Murphy Lake for fishing, swimming or boating. Plan a day trip north to the Fort Union National Monument or south to the Pecos National Historical wilderness area or the Santa Fe National Forest. Other places to visit, Red River, Sipapu Ski Resort, Angel Fire Ski Resort, the Rio Grande Bridge and the Taos Pueblo
