Charming gîte located in Millevaches National Park

Our tastefully renovated property is situated at 880 metres altitude in the Tourbiere du Longeyroux, an area of outstanding natural beauty. A perfect place to decompress & relax, this well-equipped house is a perfect base for hiking, mountain biking, motorcycling, water sports, fishing or cross country skiing. Dogs are welcome at a supplement of five euros per night for one dog and 7.50 per night for two. Le Balcon Bleu is the perfect place to de-stress & unwind in the midst of pure nature. Guest access Guests have access to the entire property and garden. Check-in and departure can be autonomous using a key safe. Other things to note There are no amenities in Chavanac, so guests are reminded to bring their provisions with them. We can offer a shopping service prior to your arrival, but please contact beforehand for rates. This is usually a fee of 20 euros dependent upon the quantity of groceries required. A Woodburner and gas heaters are used to heat the house and we supply sufficient wood for this. We supply between 15 and 25 units of electricity per 24 hours depending upon the number of guests. This is sufficient for general usage, but will not be sufficient for continual radiator heating or charging electric cars.We have a surcharge of 0,24 cents per unit over and above this usage, in line with current EDF prices. This is payable in cash upon exit or will be requested through the booking platform if you have already left the property. Rules regarding the removal of refuse should be strictly followed.
