Mission Retreat

Mission Retreat is a spacious, natural light filled guest wing of a large 2 acre property surrounded by gardens mature trees and verandas. You have your own private entrance. Lots of indoor and outdoor flow with easy pool access. A BBQ facility is available on request plus a fire brazier. Many beautiful walks are available to do in the area. We are just a 10 min walk from New Zealand's oldest and historic building the “ Old Stone Store”. Amazing boating and fishing expeditions to be had! The space Welcome to the sailing and boating mecca of New Zealand where island hopping and access to the most beautiful spots is a stone throw away. The 2 bedroom guest wing which is attached to our house sleeps 6. You have your own private entrance. Bedroom 1 bedroom has 1 queen bed, set of drawers and a wardrobe . Bedroom 2 (sleeping space) has 1 queen bed and two single trundle beds which are ideal for children and teenagers, with a set of drawers. Additionally, bedroom 2 space has a 3/4 wall which is attached to the lounge so not completely separated but has a movable divider screen for privacy (please see photos and I’m happy to answer any questions). All bedrooms have easy indoor/outdoor access to the pool and garden. The lounge has a large sofa and large television. The garden room (aka conservatory) has a large leather white sofa overlooking the garden. The kitchenette is for BASIC cooking which is equipped with ceramic hob , dishwasher, Fridge/freezer, coffee machine, microwave and air fryer. We kindly ask that no curries or food with strong smells are cooked in this space as there is no fan extraction. We do ask you to open the window when cooking. The pool is shared with others especially during the summer months. Guest access When you arrive there are steps down a narrow path to the apartment. Not ideal for wheelchair access or those struggling to walk independently. However, there are alternative routes through the garden to the entrance that we could arrange if you let us know in advance. We are around most of the time to help you carry your bags.
