Welcome to Duke's Place: a new, custom-built home, located in Massanutten Resort! The home sits on a quiet street, close to all of the activities, and includes all of the features that make it feel like home. The home has a master bedroom with king bed and en suite bathroom on the main level. The 2nd floor has a queen bedroom in Bedroom 2, and 3 twin-sized beds in Bedroom 3. Basement game room with arcade games, ping pong, arcade basketball, foosball, and board games will keep everyone busy! The kitchen is equipped with everything needed to prepare and serve home-cooked meals. For the coffee lovers we provide a Keurig and a French Press for coffee. All linens, towels, and washcloths are included with your stay. We also provide dishwasher tabs, laundry pods, toilet paper and paper towels. Game room in the basement features a ping pong table, arcade basketball, putting green, foosball, and jumbo connect 4. A laundry room with washer and dryer is available for guest use. Home is dog friendly, and named after our lab, Duke! We provide dog bowls, treats, and a spot to hang a leash. Please make sure to add your pet to the reservation, and note that there is a $50 pet cleaning fee. Traveling with friends or family? Check out Sam's Place, which is a 3 bedroom home next door! MASSANUTTEN RESORT The home is located inside the gated community of Massanutten Resort. The paid activities within the resort include skiing, two golf courses, water park, mountain biking, ziplining, putt-putt, go-carts, fishing, parks and more- only a couple miles from the house. SURROUNDING AREA Downtown Harrisonburg and James Madison University are 15 miles from our home. There are many fantastic restaurant, museums and shops that are fun to explore in downtown. The closest Shenandoah River access is only 10 miles from the house. Tubing and kayaking are fun to enjoy during the summer. The Swift Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park and Blue Ridge Trail is only 15 miles away and offers excellent hiking trails. Wineries and breweries are a short drive from the home. You are within a short drive to everything that the resort has to offer, and 5-10 minutes from additional restaurants, ice cream, breweries, and wineries. The home is also a short drive to the Shenandoah National Park.
