Our treasure hunter vacation home is in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage city of Bamberg. Not only that, we are located right next to Franconian Tuscany   right at the doorstep of Franconian Switzerland. In all seasons, you can experience pure nature, city and regional culture here. Numerous breweries where you can enjoy typical culinary delights and traditionally brewed Franconian beer await you here. In no time, you'll have forgotten your everyday worries. The space A VERY SPECIAL JEWEL. The Treasure Hunter's House, as it was called in the 16/17 century, is a unique monument and part of the Bamberg World Heritage Site. From 2016 to 2019 it was extensively renovated, and now stylishly combines the old building structure with the modern living comfort of the modern age. The house extends over a successful mixture of old and new, merged into an enchanted composition with a lot of flair and space for individuality. Dining room / kitchen You enter the lovingly furnished vacation home on the ground floor. The deep ceiling beams revive the century-old charm. ​ Smoking is strictly prohibited in the entire house as well pets are not allowed. ​ Here you will find an open, fully equipped kitchen with a cooking island, a small coffee bar and a spacious dining area. There is everything you need for cooking on vacation. If you don't like to cook yourself, you will be pleased with the central location. Just a stone's throw away you will find a wide selection of national and international restaurants. ​ Living area ​ Upstairs you enter the bright living room with a half-timbered ceiling. The leather couch and the leather armchair invite you to relax and recharge. The high-quality wooden floor creates a warm cozy atmosphere. Here you can make yourself comfortable while watching your favorite show on a large flat-screen TV or listening to music to your heart's content. Of course, the entire area is equipped with Wi-Fi. Bathroom ​ Directly from the living room through a loft French sliding door you can reach the spacious bathroom. Here you do not have to do without any comfort. You decide whether to bathe or shower. Fresh towels and a hair dryer are also included. ​ Best of all, from the bathtub you can look through this large studio window into the living room. Here you can drop into a fragrant bubble bath. Enjoy this time out... Bedrooms ​ A staircase leads you to the open sleeping gallery. The uneven, sloping wooden floor, with rustic flair, only suggests what kind of story this house has. The ancient half-timbering is also reflected here. ​ The large, already made double bed offers a pleasant sleeping comfort. ​ In addition, you will be delighted by this silence in the middle of the old town. ​ A pleasant sleep is guaranteed. There was something else... ​ ... the small terrace On the ground floor there is a small but cozy terrace. ​ Of course, surrounded by adjacent houses, as it should be in the heart of the old town. ​ The perfect place to end the evening with a cozy wine or beer.
