La Maison des Monts d'Or is a charming guest house located in Saint-Germain-au-Mont-d'Or, in the heart of an old village built from golden stone, just minutes from Lyon. We offer you a personalized and warm welcome in a carefully renovated 19th-century family home. We wanted to create an elegant, peaceful, and welcoming place where people can come to relax, enjoy a quiet environment, and discover a region rich in heritage, nature, and cuisine. The space The Charles Room can accommodate 1–2 people in a bright and peaceful setting. Facing south and bathed in sunlight, it offers a lovely view of the Monts d'Or. It has a private bathroom and has been designed as a comfortable and restful space, conducive to relaxation. Breakfast is included and prepared with local, seasonal products. During your stay, you can also enjoy the garden, the heated pool in season, the bocce court, and the peaceful atmosphere of the house. Comfort and tranquility are the key words of a stay with us. Enjoy these moments of calm and conviviality. Guest access The house is easily accessible by car, with private parking on the premises. It is also well connected by train, thanks to Saint-Germain-au-Mont-d'Or train station, which offers quick access to Lyon. If you are arriving by plane, Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport is about a 40-minute drive away, depending on traffic. Our location allows you to enjoy the tranquility of a charming village while still being close to Lyon, Beaujolais, and major roads. The heated pool will allow you to fully enjoy your stay. Many deckchairs are available for your enjoyment. It is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. A bocce court is available at the same times as the pool to complete your moments of relaxation. For late check-ins or those who want to enjoy the house, we offer, upon reservation and for an additional fee, a tasting platter (charcuterie, cheese, wine). Other things to note Discover the Saône by boat During the summer, when the weather permits (and by reservation), we offer you a sunset on the Saône aboard our zodiac. With, of course, a small catering service to fully enjoy this unforgettable moment.
