This is a treasured 19th century (1801) stone house. Beautifully restored, carefully retaining its character. The space Beautiful stone house from the 19th century (1801), built in situ on the outskirts of the festival town of Tolmin (2.5 km to Tolmin). The beach along the banks of the Soče River can be reached in 15 minutes (0.7 mi). The house is an ideal outlet for summer and water activities outdoors, as well as for festivals. It is a 45-minute drive to the Cerkno ski area, or Bovec-Kanin. Space Traditional 19th-century stone house (1800 years), full of character. Stairs to the attic: Lovely wooden stairs leading from the first floor to the attic, where you will again find original features such as exposed original stone walls and supporting columns. Aircondition in every floor and 5 fans. Attic 4 bedrooms and bathroom Two separate double rooms with stone walls, floor and skylights. You can also choose two double bedrooms that are connected to each other. Large bathroom in the attic with a nice bathtub and double funnel. In most of this loft room, the ceiling is down. Outside in the paved mansion there is a terrace with benches, table, and 10 chairs. Electric barbecue plate. Free parking on our courtyard for 3 cars and up to 10 motorcycles. Free public parking is available 30 m behind the house through neighbour's garden. opposite and in 5 other places in the village. Dogs and cats are welcome, additional cleaning fee is 50 eur per animal per stay. If you want smooth walls, and flat floors, don't book this house. It is almost 230 years old, the walls are not flat, the wooden floors show signs of wear and tear. Its in the middle of the village next to the road, during high season it is more traffic and noise. SUSTAINABILITY Our refurbishment. In renovating the property we preserved many of the original features, including wooden beams and wooden floors and the use of renovated bricks in some floors. We installed burners on sustainable wooden pellets using sustainable wooden pellets and a heat pump water heat pump. Heating IR panels in each room. Our furniture, including bedding Where possible, all furniture has been recycled, restored or sustainably obtained. We obtained 95% of the bedding from companies that are committed to a sustainable supply and production process. Wash the bedding at 60 degrees. Rubbish and recycling Slovenia was named one of the greenest countries in the world. Everyone who lives here has a role to play in this. When you come to Slovenia, you must also confirm your responsibilities, such as residents, and follow the country's recycling rules. It's not just our house rules. Make the most of your role by contributing to the recycling of trash in different bins: plastic embalage, paper, glass, bio. Ecological island with 4 different containers is 30 meters bellow our house through the neighbours garden. Guest access Complete house is available for up to 20 guests. Other things to note Guests can park 2-3 cars on our courtyard, or about 10 motorcycles. There are also free public parking areas in the village (30 m of the house through neighbour's garden next to playground, near church) and short time parking for about 50 cents per hour (next to fountain, park, ex pizzeria).
