Easy access to ski resorts, as well as parks and lakes in the summer. Close enough to the city, perfect for a quiet staycation in a well kept and stylish residence. We love our Eames dining chairs, the elegant marble tile in our bathrooms, and the fireplace for winter nights in. Great for families, multigenerational families, relaxing in nature, hiking, biking, browsing the Hudson Valley, Gunks, and Catskills. We’re located in the hamlet of Cragsmoor, around 2 hours to the city. Pool coming Summer 2024. Sam's Point at Minnewaska + the Old Stone Church overlook are all a short walk and even shorter drive. The nearby towns of Pine Bush, Ellenville, and Gardiner, all have a farmers market, supermarkets, and a choice of eateries. Legoland New York is around half an hour away, as is the Holiday Mountain Ski Resort in Monticello, which offers winter ski and snow tubing, plus go-karting and mini-golf in the summer. Ellenville has great restaurants, Kelder's farm for the kids, and endless outdoor activities nearby. The closest international airport is Stewart but we fly out of Newark, or any NYC airport. You'll want a car. There is no public transportation nearby. You will need a car. Notable towns to visit while you're here include Ellenville, Pine Bush, Middletown, Accord, Kerhonkson, New Paltz, Newburgh, the Shawangunks, + the Catskills.
