The space About the Space Welcome home! This adorable bungalow was built in 1900 and provides two bedrooms, one bathroom and 730 sq. ft of cozy, minimalist space. You will have a private entrance and full access to the entire home, front porch and enclosed back patio. There is a shared outdoor space in the back patio area where you will find a communal grill and bench seating area, as well as a staircase; This leads up to the attic, however you will not have access to the attic space. The bungalow has been modernized to include central AC and heat, there is a washer and dryer in the bathroom, and the router has 2 ethernet hookups. Parking There is no designated parking spot, but there is free 2 hour parking (Mon-Sat 8am-6pm/ Sunday's and Holidays excluded) on the street in front of the house. There is free parking with monthly street sweeping restrictions about 1 block west of the bungalow. You will be provided with more information about parking upon booking. About the Location The house is located on a fairly busy one way main street, so you will hear street noise and emergency vehicles at various times. We provide ear plugs to help alleviate the noise while you sleep, and have installed black out shades in the front windows that face the street. Please keep this potential for noise in mind when you are booking our Bungalow. That being said, there are moments of quiet throughout the day and night. About the Neighborhood Our next door neighbor to the north is an animal hospital, and our next door neighbor to the south is a private residence. The animal hospital is open from 8am-5:30pm Monday-Friday and 8am-2pm on Saturday. They have a small 4 car parking lot in the front of their business. On the south end of the block there is a 7/11 and gas station. There is a small asian fusion restaurant also on the same block. Guest access You will have access to the entire house, the front yard, and the gated patio area in the back. The gated back patio is a shared space. Other things to note **Please Read** -If you have a service dog, you will need to inform us of the service they perform before check-in. Failure to do so could result in your reservation being canceled. Please read all of the rules about service dogs through AirBnB help. Here are a few of our rules regarding dogs: —Dogs must be leashed at all times in any outdoor space- no exceptions. —Dogs are never allowed in the bathtub or shower. A few things to know about the house: -There is a small step of 1 inch from the living space into the kitchen. -There is another small step of 1 inch from the kitchen into the second bedroom. -The bathtub has been resurfaced and nothing sharp can be used on the flooring. The bathtub is a deep soak jet tub, but we inherited it when we bought the house so we cannot speak on how well it was maintained throughout the years. We have done our best to clean out the pipes, however you might still encounter hard water debris if you choose to use the jets. We prefer to use the tub just for soaking :) -There is a house behind the fence in the back patio area. It is part of the same property as the house you will be staying in.
