You get the best panoramic views out over the biggest part of the Bras d'Or Lake, and ohhh, the sunsets! 25 minutes to great golf and skiing at The Lakes / Ski Ben Eion. 25 minutes to St. Peters. The space Enjoy antique hardwood floors on the main level, wide-plank pine floors on the upper level, 2 full bathrooms, and a well-equipped kitchen to help you cook and enjoy family meals. There is a variety of coffee and tea available. It's a vintage farmhouse with all the modern amenities. The many pieces of antique/vintage furniture and decorations retain the old-school charm of this home and the many windows keep it very bright and just an enjoyable place to relax in...and explore the Island from. Air conditioning is on the main level only, but does help cool the upstairs. Fans are in each bedroom for guest comfort in summer. High-Speed Wi-Fi is in the Home On The Hill, as well as an assortment of books, games and DVDs. Lots of space outside to enjoy, including a partially-covered deck overlooking the lake, a smaller screened porch-also overlooking the lake, and the firepit. You'll definitely want to come back! Guest access Guests have access to all the living spaces, and outdoor spaces. No access to the barn or basement. No pets allowed due to significant allergies by owners and some guests. Other things to note -Come up the long driveway and there is plenty of parking by the barn after you unload your luggage at the back door. There is no access to the barn. -Please note that the air conditioning is on the main level only.
