The house offers a beautiful escape from city life. Located in the New River National Park and Preserve, Meadow Creek is an outdoors person paradise. The New River is visible from the front porch and a quick 3-minute walk. Meadow Creek, a short walk away, is stocked with trout throughout the year. Meadow Creek is located about 30 minutes from Beckley, Lewisburg, and 15 minutes from Historic Hinton The space This property will sleep your whole gang! If your coming to fish the New River or just getaway, our little house is perfect! The house is located near train tracks. You will hear the train blow it's horn as it goes by. If you are a light sleeper - we wouldn't recommend the house. For some, they love to watch and listen to the trains. The house is on a well system. The water is perfectly safe and you may see iron residue. Most folks, including ourselves, don't like to drink it. So we provide plenty of bottled water for our guests. Guest access You have the whole house for you and your party. The hosts live right next door and are available as needed. Other things to note GPS does not work very well in our area. Trust us - we see customers that are taken about 20 minutes out of their way when they rely on GPS. Directions: Our house is conveniently located off the Sandstone/Hinton exit on I-64. If you take Exit 139, turn right. Drive approximately 2.5 miles down the one-lane road. Meadow Creek Baptist Church is on the right and the road forks to the right. Stay to the LEFT and cross one set of railroad tracks. Turn right on Scott Lane. Our house is the 2nd and 3rd house on the left. This rental is the 3rd.
