Welcome to the Millevaches plateau, 800 m above sea level, in an authentic 18th-century Limousin building. Fully restored, furnished and carefully equipped, the Maison du Bonheur & Spa is an ideal and unique place for your stay. With its beautiful capacity, you can settle there with family, friends or lovers, and enjoy shared moments and pleasures together. The environment, populated by sheep, calves, cows, deer or roe deer, is a haven of peace. The space The privilege of luxurious comfort, in a preserved natural and rural environment, is the promise of the Maison du Bonheur & Spa. It is a warm, practical and friendly interior. In the large living room there is a beautiful stove to soften our winters. Around: two sofas, convertible into comfortable 3-seater beds; a connected Smart TV and board games for moments of collective life. But you can also telework there very well. The living room is open to the dining room, with a fully equipped kitchen. Upstairs, two large bedrooms with double beds and en-suite bathrooms. Accessible to all, spa bath, Finnish sauna, shower with hydromassage and hammam. The master suite, even higher, with its queen size bed has a home theater, a library and a free-standing duo bathtub. In the garden, enjoy the beautiful days outdoors, around a barbecue and enjoy the petanque court, hammock and comfortable deckchairs in an intact nature, in the heart of the Limousin mountain. The spirit of the house, comfortable but yet of its time, invites you to travel, through its decoration, typical and atypical, a mixture of art and crafts of our country, and elsewhere. The house, its amenities, its authenticity and its decoration is intended to be a source of pleasure and reverie for the rest of the body and the escape of the mind. And of course, you have to explore our region, cross its splendid landscapes and appreciate its fauna, flora and built heritage, with rare and inexhaustible wealth. Guest access Your stay is completely private: the entire house is reserved for you and offers all the necessary comforts – dishwasher, washing machine, large refrigerator, Wi-Fi, high-speed internet, Smart TV with Netflix and Molotov, DVD player, Bluetooth speakers, towels and bathrobes on request. A few steps from the garden, nature comes alive: a preserved peat bog populated by raccoons, pastures where sheep, lambs and Limousin cows graze, the discreet presence of semi-domestic cats and, all around the hamlet, hilly and game woods. Deer, does, wild boars, foxes, deer and even a few wolves sometimes appear at the turn of a trail. A living and authentic environment, to be discovered in complete serenity and with respect.
