Welcome to Thunder Ridge, an amazing 4 BR, 5-BA vacation cabin with a private studio/game room - sleep up to 18 guests! Awesome great room with stone fireplace, 70” Smart TV, & great flow to the dining area & extremely well-appointed kitchen. We are across from the Deadwood Gulch Casino, the Mickelson Trail, & a short trolley ride to Downtown Deadwood. The studio has a private entrance, a kitchenette, pool table, 70” TV & more. Great location close to the Hills & the excitement of Deadwood. The space Thunder Ridge is a 2-story home located within the City limits of Deadwood, SD. The Main bedroom and 2nd bedroom are on the main floor, and bedrooms 3 and 4 are downstairs, as is the newly completed Studio/Game Room. The downstairs has a zero-step entry, so the two bedrooms and studio/game room can be easily accessed from the outside. The studio and game room area have a separate, private entrance for additional privacy. This cabin is fully outfitted with the accessories you need for a comfortable stay - great linens, comfortable beds and furniture, and a very well-accessorized kitchen. The outside space has 3 decks each with all-weather furniture, and the back deck has a propane-burning fire table. Each deck overlooks Deadwood Gulch and offers a serene escape within the city. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire home. Other things to note ~ This driveway has a fairly steep grade (roughly 10%). If you are traveling in winter, 4-wheel drive is required. If you are pulling a trailer of any kind, 4-wheel drive is recommended during any season because of the grade. There is some gravel on this driveway, motorcycle drivers should use caution. ~ This is the Black Hills of South Dakota, so be prepared to see wildlife outside. Make sure all doors or screens are kept shut to keep them outside. ~ We will not override our cancellation policy due to weather. This also includes lack of snow for skiing & snowmobiling, or too much rain causing muddy ATV/UTV trails. We have tried everything in our power to control the weather, but apparently there is not an app for that yet. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance during the checkout process during booking. Travel insurance can also be purchased after booking from 3rd party Insurors - just search for "Vacation Rental Travel Insurance" and you will find several companies offering this type of travel insurance. ~Due to the unpredictability of our winter weather, we strongly recommend purchasing AirCover travel insurance from Airbnb when that option comes up during the checkout process.
