Half historical/ half country French style, this comfortable lake-front home provides an excellent roomy place to spend time with friends and family, or to embrace the many outdoor activities that the Northern Maine woods have to offer - including summer activities on the lake, hunting in season, and snowmobiling; with direct trail access and plenty of parking. The space This home offers a pleasant space to stay, with many homey amenities, comfortable bedrooms to sleep 8 guests - up to 10 upon request - two living areas (the above all boasting their own tv’s) a spacious kitchen and dining, plus a pool table, wifi, fireplace, outdoor fire-pit by the water, kayaks and grill. Other things to note Our snowmobile and ATV trails are eagerly sought after and enjoyed , and easily accessed from this property, directly via the lake or just up the road (see maps in images) We have parking space for three trailers/vehicles. Nearby is an area along the railroad kept clear by the local snowmobile club that can be used for parking. Also easily accessed are a children’s play ground, swimming beach, golf course, walking trail and of course the lake/waterways. Early March also welcomes the CAN/AM dog sled race, which can be viewed in action from this property. Coffins General store and Deans restaurant are both just a short walk, and offer good food and general needs. On clear nights this time of year the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) will on occasion be visible in our skies, of which you can get a stunning view of over the lake from this property. Occasional slow moving freight trains pass within sight and sound tranquil through town heading to and from Canada.
