This exceptional guest house is located in Zagora in the heart of Pelion, the land of the centaurs, away from the hustle and bustle of a big city. You have a breathtaking view of the entire Aegean Sea. The combination of beautiful natural mountain scenery and the nearby sea make this place a varied, quiet, secluded vacation paradise. 8 km away are the beautiful beaches of Chorefto and Ag. Saranta can be reached by car or bus. The space The family-owned stone house from the 19th century. century is very pleasant due to the thick walls (about 70 cm) and the altitude (about 600 m) even in the middle of summer. Depending on the season, a blanket or a jacket is necessary in the evening. The rooms are small and functionally equipped. One room has a fireplace. The terrace offers an exceptional view (in good weather up to Chalkidiki or the islands of Skiathos, Skopelos and Alonisos can be seen). A table for breakfast, brunch or for a cozy barbecue evening, a table grill and a hammock for up to two people. The fully equipped kitchen has a fridge, gas stove, extractor hood, microwave, washing machine and all necessary kitchen appliances. The bathroom/toilet has been retrofitted and leads through the living room to the small annex with shower/toilet/hand washbasin/hanging mirror cabinet/first aid kit and medication and a hairdryer. Right outside the front door is the Platanobrysē spring, which has been providing fresh water directly from the mountain for centuries! Guest access The property has two entrances with a main key. The south side (source) leads via a mule track directly to Platia Ag. Georgios (village square with church) with its centuries-old plane trees, cafes, taverns. Other things to note Due to the geographical location, in the middle of the village of Zagora and a variety of mule tracks, roads have only gradually been built in the village.
