Bato, a stylish retreat on the ground floor of Izustarri's main building. Nestled in the northeast corner, this bedroom boasts spectacular ocean views through its east facing windows. Enjoy a cozy stay with eco-friendly vibes – Izustarri is solar-powered, offering the comfort of air conditioning and hot water. Ideal for three guests, the room features a queen-size bed and a charming corner with a comfortable sofa bed and coffee table. The space Izustarri is built in concrete, wood and glass. It has a roof terrace, ideal for stargazing in the evening or enjoying the sight of the waves crashing on the rocks right outside the property, especially on days with big swell. Enjoy a nice breakfast or a simple but tasty lunch or dinner on the ground floor, in our outdoor deck, surrounded by trees and the ocean, or sit in the living room, relax, read a book, and plan the activities for the rest of your stay in Siargao. Alternatively, you can enjoy the outdoors from the balcony of your room. Guest access Guests can enjoy the common areas in the property, such as our rooftop terrace, the lounge and dining area. The property is just over 2 hectares of coconut tree forest which guests can also enjoy. Other things to note We will collect a fully refundable ₱5000 (₱10000 for guests with kids under the age of 18) security deposit before checking in. You can choose to pay this upon checking in or through Gcash, any time before checking in. Note that we are in the middle of the jungle and in an area with many fireflies. In order to not scare fireflies away, we chose to keep light pollution to a bare minimum. The access path from the parking area is dimly lit and some guests will find a flashlight useful during the night (the one in most phones should be enough). In order to maintain low noise and keep the property as pleasant as possible, we have 2 parking areas, one located aproximately 100 m and the other roughly 200 m away from the main building. Note that you will be able to drive all the way up to the main building to unload or load luggage/passengers/guests, but will be required to move the vehicle to a parking area afterwards. We are located on a rock approximately 30 meters from the ocean. As shown in one of the images, when the swell is big, waves may hit the rock with great energy, causing an astounding visual experience. Some waves might be felt as they hit the rock and make the windows rattle slightly.
