Beth's Place II Potsdam-Pickleball, River & HotTub

Beth's Place II - on the river - is a private apartment above our garage, with a separate entrance and a great private outdoor space with a hot tub. The tastefully furnished cozy apartment provides an ideal relaxing setting with beautiful river views. Outfront is our new pickleball court & putting green for our guests' enjoyment! We are located just 1 mile from downtown Potsdam, 1 mile from Clarkson, 2 miles from SUNY Potsdam, and 10 miles from SLU and SUNY Canton. We know you'll love our place! The space Beth's Place II is a beautifully furnished apartment that was built in March 2020. It is located above our garage and offers complete privacy. The apartment has one bedroom with a comfortable queen-size bed, a living room with a twin-size sleeper sofa, and a full-size Murphy bed that can be pulled down as needed. The well-equipped kitchen features a full-size stove, a dining area, and everything you need to prepare a meal. There is also a lovely full bathroom with a washer and dryer, towels, washcloths, and basic toiletries. The apartment has a private entrance with 14 steps leading up to the front door and ample parking. Guests can relax and unwind in their private outdoor space, complete with a hot tub and stunning river views. The outdoor area also features chairs, a fire pit, a grill, and beautiful lights at night. Our property is quite lovely as well, and guests are welcome to use our brand-new pickleball court installed in September 2023, the putting green in the front yard, and the igloo in the back yard. (all are shared with our other guests on the property) The Raquette River, which flows right behind our house, is also available for our guests. The trail leading down to the river has handrails to make it easier to navigate, and we also provide kayaks and a fire pit down by the river for our guests. Please note that the court, putting green, river/beach area, and igloo are shared with other guests on the property. Our stretch of the Raquette River flows all the way to downtown Potsdam, making it an excellent opportunity to kayak there and explore the town. Please note that kayaking is only available from May to November. We cover the putting green once it starts to snow. Guest access Guests will receive a code for the door a day before arrival. Other things to note We have a pickleball court in our front yard, approximately 30 yards from your apartment. During the day, you may hear a slight hitting noise inside your apartment if someone uses the court. However, most guests report that the noise is faint and not bothersome. Some guests have mentioned that they can hardly hear it at all. Guests are always welcome to come and join in on the pickleball fun! Be sure to bring your sneakers! Smoking is permitted only outside, away from the entrance.
