Unique farm stay in Twente

Woonboerderij De Bonte Koe is an authentic Twente farm near the Eerde nature reserve (between the town of Ommen and Brinkdorp Den Ham). With its own fully fenced yard of over 3,200 m2, this unique location offers plenty of space and privacy. Nature reserves Eerde and the Eerder Achterbroek are within walking distance, as is Brinkdorp Den Ham. Price excludes: - Bed linen can be booked for €15 p.p. (pillowcase, duvet cover + fitted sheet) - Tourist tax at €1.20 p.p. p.n. The space This farmhouse is equipped with luxury hotel-quality beds and has a kitchen with dining area on the ground floor, a living room, a large master bedroom with extra wide double bed - plus enough space for any crib(s) - and an extra bedroom with spacious beds of 2.1 meters long with extra sink. In the central hall, there is a separate toilet plus bathroom with an extra toilet. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms (each for 2 people) with sinks and spacious beds of 2.1 meters. The spacious beds serve as a double/single bed as desired. The living room has terrace doors, making the terrace an extension of the living room. Adjacent to the living room is also the "onderschoer" - a covered cove, where tools could be hung to dry, but where it is now wonderful to spend time even in the rain. This farmhouse is easily accessible by public transport; the bus even stops in front of the door. The house is located on an N-road with associated traffic tax, but for many this does not disturb the peace and quiet, and this road offers the advantages in terms of accessibility by car, public transport and bicycle. The Den Ham - Ommen bike path runs along the house and offers a perfect opportunity to explore nature. For example, it is only 12 minutes (4 km) by bike to the foot of the Lemeler-/Archemerberg (78 meters high overlooking an area from Zwolle to Germany) via the swimming pool De Groene Jager and the "Archemer bridge". This house is located on the border of Salland and Twente and is the ideal base for every hiker, cyclist, sports enthusiast and nature lover. Other things to note Farmhouse De Bonte Koe has been family owned for over a quarter of a century. The farm is rented out during a generational transfer for a period of a few years. During this period, we would like to share this unique location with as many people as possible, so that everyone can experience for themselves how wonderful it is to spend some time in the "green heart of the east." Enjoy walking, cycling, enjoying life among the cows, horses, birds and other animals, in the middle of nature. We are not a for-profit rental organization, but arrange the rental of this farmhouse to give everyone the opportunity to make unique memories, where we have quality as a high priority. This authentic farmhouse was completely rebuilt in 1975, but with the preservation of the old details of the previous farm; even the original bricks of the previous house have been reused for the exterior walls (but finished in cavity wall on the inside for more comfort) for a unique look, also partly due to the "stable windows" and the "undershoes"! During the construction, 5 bedrooms were realized, but later 2 bedrooms on the ground floor were pulled together to realize an extra large "master bedroom" with enough space for extra beds. Also from this master bedroom there is direct access to the sun terrace. Upstairs there are 2 double bedrooms, each with a dormer window overlooking the garden and surroundings. This farmhouse is really something for people who love a unique location with a green spacious private garden. A lot of wood was used in the rustic finish of this authentic farm with a rural interior. We are regularly told by visitors that it feels "Austrian". There are TVs available with cast options via WiFi, but also with 2 interactive KPN TV BOXES.
