Farmhouse De Bonte Koe is an authentic Twente farm near nature reserve Eerde (between the town of Ommen and Brinkdorp Den Ham). With its own fully fenced yard of over 3,200 m2, this unique location offers plenty of space and privacy. Nature reserves Eerde and the Eerder Achterbroek are within walking distance (800 m), as are Brinkdorp Den Ham (700 m). The space This farmhouse is equipped with luxury beds of hotel quality and has on the ground floor a kitchen with dining area, one living room, a large master bedroom with extra wide double - plus enough space for possibly cot(s) - and an extra bedroom with spacious beds of 2.1 meters long with extra sink. In the central hall there is a separate toilet plus bathroom with an extra toilet. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms (each for 2 people) with sinks and spacious beds of 2.1 meters. The spacious beds serve as a double / single bed as desired. The living room has patio doors making the terrace an extension of the living room. Adjacent to the living room is also the "submerge" - a covered cove, where tools could be used to be hung to dry, but where it is now wonderful even in the rain. This farmhouse is easily accessible by public transport; the bus stops even in front of the door. The house is located on a N road with associated traffic taxes, but for many this does not disturb the tranquility and this road offers the advantages in terms of accessibility by car, public transport and bicycle. The bike path Den Ham - Ommen runs past the house and offers a perfect opportunity to explore nature. For example, it is only 12 minutes (4 km) cycling to the foot of the Lemeler/ Archemerberg via the swimming pool De Groene Jager and the "Archemer Bridge". Located on the border of Salland and Twente, this house is the ideal base for any hiker, cyclist, sports enthusiast and nature lover. Other things to note Farm stay De Bonte Koe has been family owned for over a quarter of a century. The farm is rented during a generation transfer for a period of a few years. During this period, we would like to share this unique location with as many people as possible, so that everyone can experience for themselves how wonderful it is to spend a while in the "green heart of the east". Nice hiking, cycling, enjoying - living between the cows, horses, birds and other animals - in the middle of nature. We are not a for-profit hosting organization, but we are arranging the rental of this farmhouse to give everyone the opportunity to make unique memories, prioritizing quality. This authentic farmhouse was completely rebuilt in 1975, but while preserving the old details of the previous farmhouse; even the original bricks of the previous house have been reused for the outside walls (but finished in the lane wall on the inside for more comfort) for a unique look, also partly because of the "stalks" and the "tenderer"! During the construction, 5 bedrooms have been realized, but later 2 bedrooms are pulled together on the ground floor to realize an extra large "master bedroom" with enough space for extra beds. Also from this master bedroom there is a direct access to the sun terrace. Upstairs there are 2 double bedrooms each with a dorm window overlooking the garden and surroundings. This farmhouse is really for people who love a unique location with green spacious private garden. A lot of wood has been used in the rustic finish of this authentic farmhouse with rural furnishings. Visitors regularly hear that it feels "Austrian." There are TVs with cast facilities via WI-FI, but also an interactive KPN TV box 2 times. Please note: for reservations of 3 nights, bed linen is included with a standard rental price and not a discount on the rental price. (It consists of a sheet, duvet cover and a pillowcase).
