Fully functional, comfortable and very quiet house of 120 m2, in the village of Kera at an altitude of 600 m. Located in a lush valley with plenty of spring water. It is 40 km from Heraklion city and airport (45 minutes by car), 20 km away from Hersonissos beach (25 minutes by car) and 15 km away from the Lassithi plateau (30 minutes by car). It can accommodate up to 6 people and is suitable for families, couples and groups of friends. The space The village The village consists of two small settlements, Kato Kera and Apano Kera. It was named after the monastery of Panagia Kera or Kardiotissa, which is located to the north of the settlement. The monastery of Kardiotissa is a historical and ecclesiastical monument, one of the most important monastic complexes of Crete. Through the village starts the gorge of Ebasa which is a hiking path that connects Kera with Gonies and which leaks the homonymous waterfall. The view from the waterfall spot impresses the guest. The dense vegetation consisting mainly of plane trees and prina combined with the rock formations give the landscape a special natural beauty. The Kera valley house has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, great mountain views and free parking. The layout is a stone-built cottage with autonomous heating, spanning 3 levels and can comfortably accommodate 6 guests. It has 2 large terraces with a stunning view of the lush green landscape. Indoor Kera valley house offers a comfortable and bright living room with a TV, a large dining area that can accommodate 6 guests, which have direct access to the terrace. It also features a fully equipped kitchen with modern electrical appliances, allowing you to test your cooking skills in Cretan cuisine. There are 2 spacious, comfortable and bright rooms with double bed and large wardrobe and another equally comfortable room with 2 single beds. It has 2 bathrooms, one at the floor of the rooms and one on the living room floor. The first one has a bathtub, washing machine, and hairdryer. Finally, on the third floor there is an office space with mountain views. Outdoors there are seating and dining areas, ideal for breakfast or a meal, overlooking the lush landscape. Finally, the village of Kera is a traditional village of Crete, with only 8 permanent residents. It is a quiet village with a long history and is suitable for guests who love nature and want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.
