The Domaine des Ormeaux welcomes you to an authentic setting, with 4 cottages and 1 guest room converted from old farm buildings around a courtyard. Our wish: to offer a haven of peace and quiet. To preserve this spirit, the place is reserved for adults (+16) and is not suited for festive stays and/or group gatherings. A family home since the 17th century, the Domaine carries on its values: conviviality, respect for privacy, tolerance, and traditions. The space Welcome to the "Marie" cottage, a charming 85 m² terraced house, full of character and historical charm, located in the peaceful setting of the Domaine des Ormeaux. With its two air-conditioned bedrooms, it can comfortably accommodate up to four adults. The Marie cottage is housed in the oldest building on the estate, testifying to its rich past. The large bedroom retains original rustic features, including a French ceiling and a magnificent 17th century stone fireplace. You will also find a restored four-poster bed, a family piece from our ancestor Marie, which adds a touch of elegance and authenticity. The second, more intimate bedroom was once a storeroom, offering a cozy and warm atmosphere. The bright living room, opening onto a gallery, overlooks the interior courtyard and reveals a breathtaking view of the surrounding countryside. Early risers will have the pleasure of admiring the sunrise, a peaceful natural spectacle. In the inner courtyard, a private space with table, chairs and garden furniture is available to guests. Perfect for sharing an aperitif, tasting the specialties of Périgord or simply relaxing in peace in this authentic setting. Guest access Here is the information on the shared spaces available within the Domaine: Swimming pool: A saltwater swimming pool, heated and open from June 15 to September 15. Spa: A jacuzzi and infrared sauna area, accessible at no extra cost. Open from 2:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. with use limited to 45 minutes per accommodation and per day. Accessible from April to November. Massage : It is possible to book massage sessions with professionals (additional service, by reservation, massages to be paid directly to the providers). Park and orchard: The Domaine has a 1.5 hectare park with relaxation areas and an orchard near the swimming pool where naturism is permitted. Parking: Each gîte has an unsupervised covered parking space, accessible from the outdoor courtyard. Laundry room: washing machine and dryer available, use subject to charge. Note: The Domaine is reserved for adults over 16 years old. These spaces are designed to guarantee comfort and tranquility to all guests. Other things to note Other things to note Included in your stay: For your comfort, bed linen, towels, and departure cleaning are included in your stay. Please note: Spa towels are provided only during the spa’s opening season (April to October). Seasonal Breakfast: From April to October, we offer an "à la carte" breakfast (€17 per person, per day) served in our communal dining area. It includes hot drinks, fruit juices, fresh fruit salad, bread, pastries of your choice, butter, homemade jams, dairy products, and eggs (upon request). Please book at least 24 hours in advance or mention it during your reservation. This service is not available from November to March. Wellness & Treatments: Spa Access: Available from April to October (closed from November to March). Massages & Beauty Treatments: Available year-round. We offer professional massages and beauty treatments upon reservation (additional fees apply, payable directly to the therapist). Quiet & Serenity: To ensure a peaceful atmosphere, the Domaine exclusively welcomes guests aged 16 and over.
