Enjoy Complimentary Wine upon arrival ~ King Pillowtop Beds ~ WiFi ~ Fireplace - (Presto logs only - guest must supply) ~ 50" Smart TV ~ Walk To Beach ~ The space The following features of The Waves House may be helpful to you ~ ~ Accommodates 6 guests maximum including children/infants any time, day or night. ~ Especially child-friendly with Porta-crib, high chair, booster chair, stroller (available upon request please inquire at time of booking.) ~ Complimentary Bottle of Wine upon arrival. ~ 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths with papaya soaps, bath salts, bubble bath, body lotion, shampoo, hair dryer, and magnifying mirrors. ~ Luxuriate in Private Marquis Hot Tub with Stunning Ocean View ~ accommodates 5-6 people. ~ Beds: Pillow-Top King in Master Suite, Pillow-Top King in second Bedroom. - Micro Suede Sleeper Sofa (Queen 100% memory foam mattress) in Living Room, and Memory Foam Twin Futon in Master Suite ~ Provided: All linens including cotton bed linens, Down comforters on each Pillow-top King bed and Queen Memory Foam sleeper sofa, cotton bath and kitchen towels, and a starter supply of paper products. ~ Accommodating your dog friends (2 maximum) with a dog basket with towels, plastic bags for refuse, and food and water bowls. If you plan to leave your dog unattended, please only do so if you plan to bring a dog crate to house them in while you are gone. A flat rate $100.00 pet fee applies - Please note that we do not allow dogs on bedding or furniture. ~ Watch movies or take care of business on your device with 100 Mbps High Speed Wireless Internet in every room. ~ 50" flat screen Smart TV in fabulous ocean-view Living Room, flat screen TVs in each bedroom, 3 DVDs, stereo, CD player. ~ Dimmable lighting in every room, especially convenient in the middle of the night or relaxing in the Jacuzzi tub. ~ Spectacular ocean-view kitchen with dishwasher, refrigerator, Amana Electric Ceramic Cooktop Stove, microwave, espresso maker, coffee maker, coffee grinder, electric tea kettle, toaster, blender, crock pot, deep soup pot, as well as dishes, utensils, spice rack, apron, recipe books. ~ Fabulous ocean-view deck with gas BBQ, picnic table, deck chairs, kids’ picnic table and outdoor toys ~ The laundry room offers a full-sized washer and dryer with iron and ironing board. ~ During the Summer, Bayshore Beach Club heated outdoor pool privileges for $8/person/day, family rate for 5 people $30/day. ~ 7 miles of flat, sandy beach 2 blocks down the road ~ you may have fires on this beach on the west side of the beach grass ~ Parking in driveway for 3 vehicles maximum ~ Sorry, No Smoking (outside only) Guest access You will have access to the entire house. Other things to note Neighborhood: Our home is in a quiet village and we must maintain the neighborhood feeling in order to continue offering our home to guests. Parking: No more than three (3) vehicles may be parked at the house. Check-in: is at 4 P.M. Our housekeepers generally need the entire time between guests to prepare the accommodations for your arrival. Check out time is 11:00 Am Bring: Slippers (please leave shoes at the door), grocery items, Presto logs, fav board games, extra toilet paper - we leave one roll on and two spare rolls in each bathroom. We will supply the first roll of paper towels. WHILE STAYING Quiet Time: 10 PM–9 AM, being off the deck after 10 PM. Please respect the desire of our full time residents in honoring this quiet time. Hot Tub: Please do not sit on, jump on, or misuse the hot tub cover or hot tub in any manner. Damage to hot tub cover will result in a $400 charge. Cover will remain on the hot tub at all times when not in use. Please read the hot tub rules and agreement upon arrival - this information is located in the House Manual. High Speed Wireless Internet: You may use your laptop in any room ~ The house will have the network and password prominently displayed in the house. Smart TV/Netflix in Living Room: If you wish to access Netflix, you will need to utilize your personal account. Amenities: For your pleasure, The Waves House is fully furnished with all bedding, towels, kitchen towels, a “STARTER” supply of paper products, personal soap and spa lotions and potions. Porta-crib, High Chair and Stroller: These items are available upon request. Please inquire at time of booking. Cooking Crab: You may COOK LIVE CRAB ONLY OUTSIDE ON THE BBQ ~ NO EXCEPTIONS! No cooking of live crab in the house! Outdoor Cooking: A gas BBQ is located on the deck for your outdoor cooking. We supply the gas. Fireplace: Please burn only Presto logs (due to glass safety concerns) which you may purchase at the grocery stores in Waldport. When enjoying the fireplace, we found that “cracking” one of the outside doors is helpful in “drawing” the flames up. Fire Extinguishers: The Fire Extinguishers is located under the kitchen sink. STORM DOOR: VERY IMPORTANT! PLEASE KEEP THE STORM DOOR LATCHED FROM THE INSIDE WHILE AT THE HOUSE, INCLUDING AT NIGHT~AND WHEN LEAVING THE HOUSE, LOCK THE LATCH ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE STORM DOOR due to threat of Heavy Wind Damage At Any Time! Spills: All food and drink spills should be cleaned up as they occur. Food and drink spills on carpet are considered to be damage, not normal wear and tear. Carpet spray cleaner is in the Laundry Room. Smoking: No Smoking inside please. Please respectfully use receptacles on the deck for cigarette butts. Dogs: We provide a dog basket with sheets to cover furniture, towels, plastic bags for refuse, and dog bowls. We do not allow pets on bedding or furniture. If your dog is a lap dog, please be sure to use the sheets provided to cover any furniture. Candles: Absolutely no candle, oil lamp, or tiki-torch burning ~ I’m sorry, it is just too risky. Fires on the Beach: Allowed ONLY in non-driftwood and non-sea grass areas and need to be extinguished completely. Fireworks: NOT allowed anywhere. Bayshore Estates of which The Waves House is a part is EMPHATIC on this ~ take heed! Emergencies: Should you have any questions or concerns regarding your visit, please don’t hesitate to contact the management company. Their number as well as other emergency numbers are posted on the refrigerator. WHEN LEAVING Checkout: Checkout time is 11 A.M. on the day of your departure. From our own experience, we encourage you to begin gathering your personal items early in the day. We do appreciate your cooperation in allowing time for housekeeping to properly prepare the accommodations for our next guests. Your Responsibilities: Upon your departure, you will be expected to take out the garbage, run the dishwasher, start the first load of towels and leave the home in reasonably clean condition. The cleaning fee covers “normal” use and you will be charged for excessive dirtiness. Heaters: PLEASE MAKE SURE TO TURN “OFF” THE HEAT REGISTERS IN EACH ROOM! If you’ve used the fireplace, make sure the fire is OUT COMPLETELY and the safety doors are closed. Garbage/Recycling: Empty all wastebaskets before you leave. The Trash Can is located on the WEST side of the house. PLEASE LEAVE THE TRASH CAN ON THE WEST SIDE OF THE HOUSE. Garbage pickup is early WEDNESDAY morning; please FLATTEN all large items, ALL TRASH must be in GARBAGE BAGS, and PACK THE GARBAGE IN TIGHTLY in the Trash Can, closing the lid (raccoons are fond of this area). Have as much of your garbage as possible placed in the can on TUESDAY NIGHT. Please take your recycling and returnable bottles and cans home with you if possible. DO NOT LEAVE ANY TRASH AT THE SIDE OF THE STREET! Thank you ☺ Windows and Doors: Please close and lock all the windows, close all blinds, and lock the latch on the outside of the storm door. Special Instructions: Please leave a note for our housekeepers on the dining table should you find anything needing repair or special attention, or if a supply needs to be replenished. Key: When you leave, place the key back inside the lock box. This is very important! A $100 lock replacement charge per key will apply if keys are missing. Lost and Found: Items will be held for 30 days only, and are subject to a $25 plus shipping fee. We hope you will come back to enjoy yourselves and . . . . relax.
