The Crab Chateau - 3 Blocks to Beach

Custom Isle of Palms beach home which has been completely updated with “vacation” as the top priority. Absolutely everything is new and we aim to please! Offering an open concept and having separate areas for kids, or work, it is ideal for families or a group of friends. All of this three blocks from the beach and a few more to the grocery store, retail, and the Isle of Palms Rec Center. The space Upstairs, the spacious great room includes a fully equipped kitchen, living room, and dining area large enough for everyone in the whole house to spread out if they want. The kitchen also has a large island seating four, its a perfect place to setup a buffet style dinner or just hangout together since we all seem to gravitate to the kitchen for some reason. It is often the most used area of the house. The living room has a large sectional couch, a 50” TV, and is open to the great room. Windows all the way around this room make it light and airy but a great spot to relax as the Live Oak and Palmetto Trees shade you from the sun and neighbors. It is an open but private space. On the opposite side of the great room is the game room, another window filled room which has a multi game table (hockey, foosball, pool, table tennis, chess, checkers, backgammon, etc) for kids/adults along with a retro style dining table. It is great for board games (provided), a kids dining table, or a nice semi private place to setup your laptop and get some work done or read the news. Other features of the common area include a large rear deck with grill and lounge chairs, full bathroom, and large storage/pantry. Each of the two upstairs bedrooms are outfitted with new beds, mattresses, beachy décor, and large double door closets provide ample storage for clothes and suitcases. These two bedrooms share the upstairs full bathroom which has a step in shower with sliding door. Downstairs is a large bedroom with a full size bed, a set of bunk beds (children only), dresser, TV, and a large laundry room with a washer, dryer, and an extra refrigerator available for your use. There are also two other storage closets on this level should they be needed. Out the front door is a covered porch area with nice outdoor furniture, perfect for staying out of the sun while watching the locals and fellow travelers cruise around the island on foot or golf cart. I personally think it’s the best spot for morning coffee while the island slowly wakes up and starts it’s day. A rinse off station out front makes it easy to keep the sand out of the house and a circle driveway provides plenty of parking in addition to one open garage space. For the beach, we have a couple beach chairs, an umbrella, beach towels, a few beach toys, and other items previous guests have left behind. There are beach stores within 1 mile for any other beach needs you might want. Guest access The entire house is at your disposal. Other things to note Beach access is directly down our street. We have a wagon, 4 beach chairs, and a few beach toys for your use. The walk is a path through the sand dunes so if you’re toting a wagon or prefer a smoother stroll, you may want to consider the access at 21st, which is just a couple of blocks away and has a boardwalk all the way to the sand.
